If you have a hard mount you will get the dreaded "jello effect" which is what you see is most of the gopro videos on helis and drones. The foam mount cuts that down a lot.

Interesting video, I just ordered a Hero 2 after getting Phoenix RC Sim to do a similar thing. How bad is it without the foam mount?
