dlwoods7--We all love and respect Anna and although it may not be said that she was rude, her responses were polite cursory. We have seen her perform in this way before, but this exchange has us feeling favor for Anna b/c of her history with Cheryl. It's almost as though she were having this interaction w/Olivia and we want the other person to feel Anna's STING. AND, why should Anna be any different than anyone else, she feels pain, and reacts like the rest of us......Go Anna!!!!!
Her facial expressions. Her tone. I could read all that you wrote nice, or I could do it with bitchy intonations. Often it's not what is said, but how. I've been watching Finola long enough that I know when she's being nice, and when she's not. Even look at how she subtly snubs Cheryl when she sits beside her; Anna crosses her legs and reads her magazine.
I agree with you. Anna wasn't rude. On the other hand. She had a right to be though. After what Cheryl put her through in late '88. Robert was rude to her though. I mean he could have been a little less loud when it came to the test. I don't think he has forgiven her what she did to Anna back then or to Robin either. She could have lost her mother for years cause of Cheryl and the mobster's son.

Anna: Oh hello, how are you?
Cheryl: actually just great now that I have Lucas it like an answer to my prayers
Anna: I'm sure it is
Cheryl: Look I know you are a good friend to Bobbie
Anna: Well the child is yours
Cheryl: Well it is all over and done with and now I just hope I can be a good mother.
Anna: I hope you can to. (just agreeing with what Cheryl said herself)
