  • I live in the neighborhood, interested to see more shots from "floodtrastrophe" 2009. Glad we live up the hill! Please let me know what until your are/were in, my husband does A/V and we like your footage and would like to talk to you more.

  • me and my durango would have had some fun!!!

  • this is my old hood!

  • Chattahoochee Landing i lived there from 96-04

  • Was the damage big in Roswell?

  • @SephCat74 It depends on who you ask, if your house is close to the river or Big Creek you may have had some substantial flooding and water in your home. For me it wasn't much more than an inconvenience, roads closed, power out that sort of thing. Many in our community did sustain serious and costly damage to their homes and property and are still recovering from the flood September 21, 2009!

  • @jahzoone I see, thanks for the reply. Were the roads closed and power out for a long time? Sorry for the question. Im just interested.

  • @SephCat74 The road in the video was closed for 2 or 3 days, it took awhile for the water to go down, power outages were isolated incidents from trees falling on power lines and things like that. Really the over all impact was not just limited to Roswell but rather the greater Atlanta area and perhaps the region. For instance if you watch my Peachtree Creek Flooding video you will see that the Buckhead Garage had around 7-8 feet of water in the shop, 15 miles from Roswell, it was a disaster!

  • i remember this

i live in Duluth and all roads were flooded

  • yeah i remember this...i live in Austell. crazy an hard time in september...plus we knew the family that lost that baby...hope everything around ur area is good.

  • wow, Azalea Dr looks soooo different under water.

  • Yeah, it really does! Usually there are tens if not more people walking, biking, rowing or otherwise enjoying the Chatthoochee river and walking paths here in Roswell.

  • do u know if sentienal on the river is flooded

  • I don't think so?

  • even if it was it's not flooded now the river is back down to normal.

  • is this by eves rd

  • It's about 2 miles from where Eves Rd intersects Riverside Rd.

  • I guess I know what their one maintenance guy will be doing for the next 6 months, instead of fixing AC or Heating units or changing light bulbs. Lived there a few years back. What a hell hole.

  • horrible whats happening there...at least the country wont have to listen to blacks call the president a racist and whine about how he doesnt care about them...friggin nonsense.

  • wow...i live near this! i cant believe that georgia went from a stage 2-3 drout to acouple feet of standign water, covering some houses!
