NICE!!! I have the exact same car (318,4 door hardtop, black) and i just got done putting on a dual cherry bomb exhaust system!! Scary, i kinda thought somebody stole my car but whew its still there!!
so THIS is what i have to look forward to! :) me n my good friend are juuuuuust finishing mthe 318 swap in my blevedere, a ;63 sedan. im amazed at how easy the transitions been to go rom slant 6/3 on the tree to 318 torqueflight; use the stock frame mounts, stock driveshaft, transt crossmember, rearend without issues!
Sure thing. The limiting factor was crappy cross-ply tires. When they were put on radials, the handling and cornering was superb. I could drift mine at 80mph. I've had 8 of them. My last one was a 440 model 2 dr h/top with 383.
Thanks! I read in an old copy of Collectible Automobile magazine (highlighting the '62-'64 Plymouths) that that was the case, even with a big block. I WILL confess that my favorite year was '64 (and '65 'intermediates'), followed by the '63s and the '62s. What year was your last 440, was that 383 a 2bbl or 4bbl? I understand those Chrysler big-blocks were fairly easy to work on and were quite durable. Is that also true?
I hope you fixed the suspension on this Exner death trap!

I've heard that those cars handled pretty damned well for their time. How true is that?

Thats a bad 440 you got there, doing a 330 4-door on a rotisserie, love these '62's.
