  • Found you while looking for third poistion stuff!

Good to see your still playing.

  • Mueleski,

Started playing Golden Melody Harmonicas about two years ago with my guitar. Nothing like you, but I really like the way it sounds and ease of playing. Thanks for the great sound and advice. You make this great harmonica sound fantastic!

  • Thanks. By the way what have you found to hold your Golden Melody and play the guitar at the same time? I've never seen a harmonica holder that was really built to hold a GM.

  • Use the Hohner holder (about $14). Have never had any trouble with it moving on me, but I have a delicate style . . .

    Best Regards

  • Thanks, and Keep on Harpin!

  • i use a lee oskar holder, it's really wide and fits all my harmonicas. you can see it in my videos

  • that's not true, otherwise it wouldn't be "richter tuned"

  • Yes it is true, the Golden Melody is Richter tuned but in a way that is called tempered or equal. Other variations of the Richter flatten some notes to make chords sound better but they are still the same note. The Richter tuning scheme refers to what notes are at a certain hole not the sharpness or flatness of it, especially if not carried to extremes.

  • Great advice, man!

  • Is the mistake at 2:06? Besides this a little off place note (volume and timing wise) a very nice jam!

  • Hey thanks for listening. No the mistake I was talking about wat at around 2:18. what I did at 2:06 was planned as was supposed to be a little transition type phrasing. Anyhow, thanks for the comments.

  • Ok, I understand what you did at 2:06. Just out of curiosity: whats the mistake at 2:18? Is it, that there is a beat too much in one bar? (next try...)

Hope you dont mind answering (my german teacher always said: artists dont have to explain their work) but as you already pointed out that there is a "mistake"...

  • Well, the mistake is that I played a note I didn't want to play. It is not the way I had it in my head, that is all. This is also a lesson we can all learn, if you make a mistake just keep playing because probably no one else will have known you made one!

  • jajaja i got a tune that it's just like yours but i play it on G harp (i also play golden melodys)... it's a little bit faster but it's almost the same tune

    good job... bye

  • good job buddy!

  • nice. how long iv you been playin?

  • thanks for the comment. I've been playing off and on for about 40 years,

  • I have a golden melody i love it, to bad i broke it. but what a harp

  • Yep, they are great harps.
