omg THANKS!! I'm a therapist now and I want to be a doula SO MUCH!!! But just never knew how to get started or where. My dream is open a birthing center outside of Chicago once we move there. Thanks again!

You cannot complete DONA doula training via distant education - CAPPA does however.
Interesting basic information, but I'd like to see you redo this video with more information on how doulas can really help, stats on reduced c-section rates, epidural requests etc.
Doulas provide emotional and physical support to families during labour, birth and directly postpartum. We basically provide anything that family needs, within our scope (non-medical care and support).
