@gandikie From what I can decipher Its about a young woman who's life is going in a horribly wrong direction and she feels trapped with no way out. She seeks solitude in her private hiding place where she can focus on simpler things and away from the complicated mess her life is in. The prominent winter theme adds to the cold and melancholy nature of the song and perhaps even hints at Seasonal affective disorder.
