recently ordered the Studio 10 HD program for 59.99 dollars. Im lost on how to install it. I already have the trail verison. When i click the pinnacle studio_HD_V15_part-1-of-2 button it will install something but than it will say file not found pinnacle studio_HD_V15_part-2-of-2.dat.

Could you please help me or can i have some instructions?

That's pretty cool!!! I just finishing off a video for a show I did recently. It took me 3 days then the next thing I knew my program shut down. I then waited opened up STUDIO 10 prog. it asked me to continue. So I did then I lost everything. Is there a way of recovering all this hard work? Thanx 4 your time.

thats because you have not paid for it (the effect) and once you do you may have to unlock it in Pinnacle

chroma key is any color click on the square and itll open up a color pallet and if change the setting inputs to wide then restart it the pic will be wide rather sq framed

It depends on what your trying to accomplish.Its good for making home movies and Youtube videos or anything you might want to animate like picture slide shows.If you want more creativity

Thanks for the help, but i get no sound with MPEg-2 also. I don't know what a DRM protection is. I like vegas also. Thanks for the help. As an answer, I can recommend that, for image edition, Corel Photo Paint has some functions that Photoshop hasn't (at least it's what I think)

I'm facing a problem with my studio 10 program. There is not any sound in it at all. And yet thyere still is sound in the movies when you publish them. I've tried to raise the sound, high pitching adding all kinds off effects, they work, but there is no sound in the program, only in the published movie. Anyone faced this problem?/Know how to fix it?

Do you have your sound muted in Pinnacle? check your sound options in the program.

Simple, it's the most unstable, unreliable editing software on the market hands down. It's a complete and utter disgrace that Avid would even box and sell a product like this to the public.

I've switched to Adobe Premiere Elements and it's noting short of fantastic. I haven't have a single crash in years, and have since started using the pro version. The learning curve is steep, but well worth the extra time.

when you download the explosions in the win zip file, you need to import zip folder. then use mediacoder(a free video, audio converter) to convert the .mov to .mpeg-4.

I imported a video into PS 12.1 and then added explosion effect. I clipped explosion per video, then went to effects and chose "Add an effects to a video clip", but can't get rid of black background. What effect do you call to make the black transparent?

Please dont quote me on this because I no longer use Pinnacle..but to slow down or speed up your video you may have to hold down the Shift key while dragging the video to the right (speeds up) to the left (slow down) or visa a versa

i double click on it to open folder and it shows a QUICKTIME PLAYER which im guessing is the effect and 2 other files. I've tried dragging it to pinnacle, clicking on the left tab and browsing for it, but when i try putting it in it says its invalid or something. i tried downloading winzip and winff but they wont helo me at all either. Windows should be able to unzip it and then place it in a folder where you can find it.

You should see a MPEG or WMV,AVI or something of that file format.

Place that file only in Pinnacle.If you cant unzip by double clicking on it you will have to get a unzipping program by Googling.Its usually free for a basic program just to unzip files.Try Winzip
