I'm sure it is a wonderful place - I unfortunately have not yet visited WV. I was born and raised in upstate NY amongst very liberal ideology-minded people and I used to talk very negatively about "the South". I thank God that I have become much wiser and I now have the utmost respect for the good people of the South!
