@CentsTwo that's the thing, u can't. unless u wanna 'buy' a cheap pirated version, but i wouldn't risk it, just google how to solve some of the problems ppl r having with windows 7. u can also downgrade to winXP and get a hack for legitimate and pirated copies, though it WILL be frustrating at first.

well, i just tried this and i was, a little dissapointed. Firstly it took a good 40-50 min of searching the web to make the game start and run smothly (GFWL was causing trouble and my video card was TOO GOOD for the game (thats right, if you get over 100 FPS you get mouse stutter/lag, forcing vsync fixed it though))). Second, and my biggest gripe, mouse acceleration cannot be switched off in the game menus (i had to tinker with logitech set point fix it). but appart from these issues it's OK.

@BobbyJonny1 microsoft shut down xbox live for the original xbox. you can still play online with something but i forgot the name but it is very laggy. xbox live was shut down since April 15 2010. halo 2 on vista is the better way to go

Yes Halo 2 works on Windows 7, yes there is still mutiplayer and will be for a long time, and no you don't need a gold account to play online at all anymore.
