Winona is still a great actress.

Winona's performance was absolutely phenomenal, bearing in mind she was only 21 or 22 when it was shot. The nuance she brought to May was breathtaking... I bet even Winona herself cannot quite believe the performance she achieved. She was absolutely robbed of the Oscar.
