  • YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Normally I would rush to show something this awesome to everyone I know, but this is so sublime I think I might keep it to myself.

  • am i the only 12 year old that listens to this and rap really omg it really is 2012 cuz this is where it all started

  • Me like! :))

  • nice work indeed very together indeed

  • i absoulutely love it ! that is just awesome, man, are you using open G or standard tuning ?

  • @sakutasu im pretty sure its open D. i hope that helps

  • @MrSmith637 it's Open E

  • TEACHER? - me thinks NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dude, you nail it, props!

    `

  • I loved it

  • everything Robert Johnson ever played is seriously what the BLUES is! Patricks version is absolutely awesome. I am so happy to see someone of his caliber teaching this song! Played the way it should be! Thanks a lot for the video. I have some original songs on my page, If you want to feel free to give me some feedback if not cool I still subbed! :)

  • Great version of dust my Broom man, and great vocals too...

  • Why dont you squirrel nut little shits with the negative comments go ahead and post your video responses of you playing this song, thats the best way to show someone that their version sucks. Other than that Shut your suckhole. the Dean guitar, the this and that, blah blah blah. No one isnt going to be Elmore James, but this version isnt bad at all, its damn good, and his voice is actually pretty good. Different opinions, constructiv critcism are ok, negative comments not ok. He's got talent.

  • Old Elmore James tune. Very nice.

  • pretty average

  • i really like his playing, but for gods sake why play a dean?

there are so many better guitars out there.

  • You know, I was 8 years old (in '61) the first time I heard a version of RJ's song- the guy was playing slide with a pocket knife between his toes, and strumming with his other foot!!!! He had lost both arms in a logging accident and he played on a cheap Sears guitar!!!!

  • @maintheradio Define better.Let me ask you a question, have you ever played a dean palomino?if not, how can you assume it's not a very good guitar?I know that you assume it's not a very good guitar either because it's not a very well known guitar or just simply by it's cost.I would recommend you change that way of thinking, ignorant people think like that, ignorant people think value is measured by price tag, but it's not .YOU make a guitar sound good, the guitar can't sound good by it's self.

  • dude, LEGENDARY!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nailed it good!

  • That dean sounds terrible....

  • great version

THIS is how you play Dust My Broom

  • Where's the passion? This is boring! No hommage to Elmore.

  • very very good, good job

  • what guitar is that?

  • Good job pal....really enjoyed it.

  • yes! thank you< robert johnson would be proud!!

  • what tunning are you using, open E?

  • Great job ,if only I could ever play the blues that good, trying ... practice all the the time, when I get the chance. really enjoy watching your technique, hope to get it down sooner or late, thanks so much...

  • sweet man! good sh*t right here!

  • make ya say mmm.

  • Love your sound! Nice relaxed style.I am relatively new to utube and have recently posted a version of dust my broom useing a resonator .I would value your opinion of my version. Many thanks!

  • cool guy, completely souvereign performance.

    thx, i really enjoyed it.

  • Perfect guitar technique. Vocal is excellent but project a bit more like you're yelling to the guy in the next building. Tempo should be half again faster and relentless. It's out of gas.

  • SO NICE!!!

  • best version i heard yet, vocals are awesome too! rock on bro!

  • im from memphis, you rock outloud

  • Nice man
