Best player in the world?! Gimmie a break! he's the best 1B in the Majors, but not the best in the world. What about a guy like ICHIRO SAZUKI who has 10 Gold Gloves and 344 more hits than Pujols during the same 10yr span? ICHIRO even set the major league ALL-TIME record for most hits in a season with 262. Every position has a "Best player" 3B, SS, C and so on. I never bought that one guy is the best Bullshit.

@mr0iceman66 Just in case you didn't know, there are HALL OF FAME players who did NOT win or even play in the World Series and they are still great, like ROD CAREW. And winning a World Series goes by LUCK OF THE DRAW. If you are LUCKY enough to be on a good team that gets there and wins then good 4 U. If ICHIRO was on the CARDINALS or YANKEES he would have. Would Albert Pujols have won a W.S. if he was on the MARINERS? NOPE ! That's why "BEST Player" in my book goes by position.
