I saw them last night at the Tower in Philly and of their many stellar songs this one was a special treat for me. It's difficult to describe how moving their sound is live; the quiet to powerful dynamics in this song really illustrate that. At last night's show when the song builds (at 59 seconds on this video) I was enthralled by the sheer power and beauty of the bass and drums (and guitars) under Robin's compelling voice. This video is nice, but you just had to be there. Goosebumps! Thanks FF!

Their sound is good, and sort of unique. Good production. A little anthemic. Someone said there's a lot of 60's sounds in their music. I hear Creedence & Crosby Stills & Nash, and I also hear a lot of U2, but the vocal harmonies are sweetly devotional. Sort of sounds the same after 3-4 songs, though.

All of the band members in this video are the current members of Fleet Foxes. The 3 on guitar have all undergone pretty major hair re-do's, maybe that's what's throwing you off. The bass player's grown his long, the other two chopped theirs short.
