@smokefire3 Pretty much well said. Evolution and appearance play no role in determining strength. It also goes for people as well. May look like a wimp or geek, but are probably pent up on some kick ass moves. Red' Pikachu from the Pokemon comics was the same exact way, except even stronger than Ash's. People see Red and whatever pokemon he trains as probable Legendary figures.
