@F1andris The journalists loved him because he always gave them good quotes. He would have loved the 2012 cars with tires that need to be taken care of and lack of electronic driving aids.
I like to think that JV was and would be better than MS. Besides, Jacques was actually developing the team, and I believe he was gifted in that capacity, and might have pulled off a "Braun-type" coup-de-gras rather quickly.
@auto123 i dont think that jacko would have been worst then schumacher because schumi totally stopped driving in competion and JV stays on multiple races around the world he can drive all cars in the worlds and maybe i think that he is a better mecanician then micheal instead he could have a place into a new team to help a team to build up their f1 team and cars so he could have a chance to proove himself too... thats disgusting to denied a place for him HE IS A WORLD CHAMPION!
@filou933 It's also a shame that Peugeot didn't keep him for the 24 hours of LeMans. Very few people have won the F1WC, the Indy 500 and the 24 Hours.
wow i didnt know he was racing in there
since when??

@Hbirdman1994 Indeed. That BAR adventure was a fiasco.

@auto123 The worst thing was that the 2004 car was brilliant but he got sacked at the end of '03

It's a shame on Formula One that the best cannot be on the grid!

I wish JV had succeeded in re-entering F1.

@Rosenbeary Me too but judging by Schmacher's problems, maybe it's a good thing after all.

pole position was pretty important on that track, who were the other drivers - WRC or ex-formula shoes? Euro wannabees?
