  • that'd be half a tank?

  • wet snow? thats not like bisquik thats more like fucking cocaine

  • im about to get an s4, and i am looking to get that sound. what upgrades are on the car? k04 turbos? i know the stage 3 vast tune and the borla catback.

  • saving up for this car as i type.

  • This is not wet or heavy snow. It's dry and fluffy. If it was remotely wet or heavy it wouldn't dust up on the windows. Also, not deep snow at all. It's like 3 inches. Love the S4, very capable car but try and make an honest video.

  • that looks like a......fucking blast!

  • with snow tyre?

  • <<< B5 S4 videos here

  • i feel so fucking stupid right now.

  • Is that standart 265 hp?

    Thanks.

  • this is nothing compared to the snow we have now

  • nice vid. but that is most definitely NOT wet snow. not the driest either, but wet snow doesn't stay up in the air like that.

  • @gubocci - Just the top bit was light from snowfall the few days before. Most of it was thicker/heavier. You can see how hard it was for the car to get going from a stop. If it was all light/fluffy, it would have cut right through.

  • nice vid. but that is most definitely NOT wet snow.

  • That looks more fun than snowboarding =)

  • I have observation. This looks like the best way to snow removal.

  • those turbos gotta love that freezing cold weather....nice man im jealous i want to do this in my s4

  • Mate, nice work! That looks fun. Winter tyres?

  • I cant wait til it snows, my first winter with my S4. got my Blizzaks too. gonna be AWESOME! Audi all the way VAST does great work. my sisters b/f car is RS6 stg3 w/ out intercoolers/meth

  • should put a wakeboarding tow rope and handle on car, and then have a guy on a snowboard getting pulled by the S4. Thatd be fun. id do it!

  • my diesel rabbit could go through all that

  • I love it that no matter what AWD car that anybody drives whether it be an STI, EVO or anything else, they have to thank AUDI for designing AWD. I love it and I love my AUDI also.

  • One of your best videos. This will milk out the beamer lovers.

  • man i love the s4 lol looks like so much fun!

  • schoenes video, aber diese ist super-pulver schnee, nicht nass oder schwer, einfach die beste schnee

  • for my aunt wendy... and those 9 month long texas winters....

  • The power of quattro! check out my s4 also!

  • Very Good car! And very nice video!!

  • Sweet car

  • i love at 1:38. you can see the car switching the amount of torque on individual tires to get it moving. lol.

  • easy redline lol

  • Audi makes the best 4 wheel sedan on the road hands down...no offense to the WRX crowd.

  • you think the stasis diff would fit in a b5??

  • that snow is neither wet nor heavy.

  • THIS should be the only commercial Audi ever needs

  • LOL, amazing vanishing magic trick at 0:13, madd skills and insane car love it, MORE VIDS?

  • I'd love to be you right now

  • looks like sum1 wass havin fun. haha nice drivin nd i love the end. perfect finish. i thought u were gunna crash for a second there.

  • se putea si mai bine

  • not bad you plowed the whole driveway

  • omg didi that with my civic b16.. hit 245 and i wasnt going anywere

  • :D winter fun

  • just ridiculous

  • therapeutic

  • You have a perfect snowy spot there chris....where is that?

  • Baller

  • poor underbody...

  • thats a lot of cocaine.

  • S4 Stage 3+ owner here, so not talking out of my ass. Instead of putting so much strain on 1st gear at around 4-5k rpm, put it in 2nd gear and rev 2-3.5k, way better results, and way easier drift, don't rev so high, because all you get is spin, u want it to grip now and then for transitions.

  • 50hp car owner here, on snow you can put car in 5th gear and it will still spin as a motherf++ker:D and the 1st gear is ment for heavy pulling, thats why it so short, so you don't overload the engine or the clutch, if you put the car in higher gear and do stuff like this, then you will put a lot of stress on the clutch or on the engine, when you get grip, since the wheel will be spining freely and then when you get the grip, the clutch will overload and spin.

  • Comment removed

  • @ negatveshot: stage 3 owner here too. Have to agree about using 2nd instead of 1st.

  • and a touch less power.

  • Quattro AWD at it's finest.

  • that looks AWESOME.

  • Very little extra wear actually, it just burns more gas.

I want to know about those people who post BS comments on youtube...

  • @ChrisOstberg ure right on that poor tractione the car is not exposed to any weare at all u could just rev the engine and make as much damege the only thing damaged is the wallet for all the high gas prices :P

  • @ChrisOstberg Burns SO MUCH gas... :(

  • You do undeerstand that for an audi this is play time? I put my car MORE strain at the dyno facility than the guy did here, and I don't go above 5k rpm. (Audi a4 2.8T 97)

  • The only real wear you do is on the front cv joint boots, because you are at full lock and its cold and the rubber boot is brital. So the boot lasts maybe 80% of its intended life, then you just change it for $20. Other the that no extra wear, so theres no abuse at all, plus, thats what cars are for, they are for putting smiles on your face. For most its their second biggest investment, better make it something thats fun. Man your really boring.

  • ahh cant wait to get my b5 haah you know that transmission is crying after that treatment though haha

  • damn that looks like fun

  • did you have ESP on?

  • No way, with ESP on the car won't slide or spin the tires.

  • oh so ESP is traction control basically?

  • Sort of. It's traction control, but it will also straighten the car out if it begins to slide sideways. Basic traction control only stops the drive wheels from spinning. ESP does this and uses the brakes on individual wheels to stop a sideways skid (on or off the throttle).

  • @eMpowerr Electronic Stability Program on the older cars it was ASR ( anti slip regulation) turning both of these off is like locking the front and or rear ends in so they will have power no matter how much slippage is occurring.

  • you had me cringing i thought u were gonna hit the rocks.

  • When you drive in the snow, do you turn off the asr? I'm sure you turn off esp too for this.

  • I know there are some pricy car waxes that do a pretty good job of keeping the snow from sticking to your car, as well as that crap they put on the road at the same time. It looks like you have something to that affect...not much is sticking. I just wish they had something that did the same for windows. I know Rain-X is pretty good at getting big drops, but it seems to make snow and mist look worse. We need a window wax!!

Great video though. Can't wait for winter now.

  • 2:00 ...damn that's cool!

  • damn son every video you have is crystal clear perfectly captured and just badass, all the good s4 vids are yours for sure

  • love your car :) sweeeeet

  • Cool Video, but come on there is like 3 inches of snow there. Its not what I would call "heavy."

  • It was very wet and heavy snow. You're thinking of something else.

  • Oh IC in the US heavy snow = deep snow. You mean wet snow.

  • k, i just got a 2001 audi s4 (110,000miles) and im thinking of replacing my k03's with k04's. do you recomend an upgraded fueling kit or will the stock one work, if so, with all of that power under the hood will the car be hard to controll. im only 17 and dont have much driving nor audi experience, but im looking to get very good at driving in the future.

  • If thats all yourdoing to it, then the stock shock keep the car runnin strong, i wouldnt uprade untill you do more with it.(more mods). i just got my 2000 s4 W(101,000miles ) and i hope its reliable for everyday use, i personally dont want to mod my'n cuz im not sure how good they are, i always here they are always in need of repairs, especially the turboed ones.

  • The only problem ive had with the engine on my car is a bad coilpack! I run a Stage 2+ S4 right now and have put over 11k miles on it last year. This car can be a beast with just software!

  • quattro RULES! <3 Audi

  • thanks but i kinda like the subarus and audis better or also i was thinking of the jeep srt8

  • or what other cars do you know of that are under 30k that have awd and are good performers

  • I really like the new Evo. It's kind of a cross between an S4 and the old STI. Good performance, but improved interior.

  • well im am still trying to decide on which to get either a sti or an s4. what do you think? also how much is your insurance for your s4. i like the sti for its better gas milage and it drives pretty good and i like the s4 for its nice inteiror and its 4.2 v8

  • My car has a twin turbo 2.7 liter, not a V8. The V8 cars are more luxurious, but not nearly as fast as a modified 2.7. Insurance for the S4 is pretty cheap, should be much less than STI.

  • ya thats why a type-25 sti will kill that car for half the price and a better all around performer

  • Show me some Type-25's going 185 mph/300 km/h. :-)

I've owned WRX's before. They are fun to drive, but the Impreza line really has a low quality feel. It makes a better stripped out track car than a daily driver.

  • Apparently you have never met a modded b5 s4. Good luck with that.

  • ridiculous how can you stay destroying your engine and your car just for this stupid video

  • Destroying the car? What are you talking about? Nothing was damaged making this video. The car has 85,000 miles (137,000 km) and runs fantastically. Cosmetically, the car looks nearly new.

    Thanks for your concern though.

  • just get an sti

  • If I wanted a slower car with a terrible interior, I'd consider it.

  • dont b5's have alot of problems?

  • Like What????

  • If you don't take care of it or don't know what you're doing, sure.

That goes for most cars though. Mine's been pretty good to me over the past 6+ years.

  • Those snow tails look like they are from a skidoo or something! Awesome vid!

  • adi gubita is the best number one he is the best driver ever

  • no limit, beautiful, great idea

  • That was totally ftw!

  • AUDI ftw

  • like salt and pepper quattro in snow makes it better!!!

  • I wonder what tires on that cuz i need some for my s4

  • 230 km/h is the top speed -.- lol

  • Not on mine!

  • great way to beat the crap out of your car

  • he is on top of a lake

  • Nope, it's just a large parking lot.

  • Great driver.

  • BULLDOG..haha!,love AUDI!

  • and that my friends is why Im trading in my evo for an audi ...TCHUSS :)

  • Das ist wunderbard... S4 is far better than evo. u will not regret it. Tchuss.

  • if you need to have someone take the evo off your hands though im here!! haha

  • Get the new one tho(2010 model). The older S4 is made fore safety, on the road it understeers and never lets you play.

  • just an update, my gto got totalled, some guy t-boned me pulling out of a parking lot and its totalled, so i only have 9,500 to spend on a new car, so im pretty sure a 2010 model is out of the question, besides dude im only 17,what would i do with a 2010 audi? but thanks for the idea, ill look into it and give it a try, maybe i can convince my parents to go with it lol

  • I understand. I've driven the new S4 and for me it's the most inovative Audi to date. With a press of the button you can adjust the 4wd system for safety and then it'll understeer, you can set it to behave neutrally or you can set it to behave like a true rally car. I was driving it on a frozen lake and it was probably the best driving experience I've ever had.

  • im getting a first sports car for a similar price soon. i like these S4's but if something brakes your kinda fucked because its probably really expensive to fix. so if u get a s4, go for the least miles passable and have it checked out by a 3rd party mechanic. also check out BMW 323,25,38 etc is (the is's are almost M3's) and if u like muscle 99 cobras, 99-04 Mustang GT's, LS1/LT1 Camaros and Firebirds are avalable for under 10K good luck

  • Ale koleś wymiata:))

  • yes i see ur point tis is a great flick by the way, forgot to tell u last time. Keep cruzin

  • for sale a very nice AUDI S4 very well maintained, highway miles, elderly owned.

  • more info where

  • haha thats badass dude

  • wow and i think i beat my car sometimes??

    this is harsh

  • amen

  • arabayi bok ettin

  • this is sweet but im SICK of seein stupid snow donuts y dont you take a cruise in the snow down a mountian or somthin a ride on the highway in a snow storm passin other peices of shit give me somthin good to watch. Audi is better then tHat. i know what an s4 can do in a parkinglot show me somthing COOL!

  • you want to risk your 50k car driftig up a snowy mountain road be my guest ...

  • thats awesome. check out my videos of my 335xi in the snow. I'm still waiting for some deep snow to try my car out. But xDrive and QUATTRO are freaking awesome!!

  • Are you plowing that parking lot, lol

Thats absolutely insane! I've done it once on a A6 2.7T and the car felt like it was on rails.

    Thumbs up to great engineering!

  • HAHHA dude man thats awsome i have a wrx sti and i do the same thing here but i'm thinking about buy an S4 great shit AWD power

  • круто respekt и скорость хорошую держал все супер

  • i know who to call now if i ever need a parking lot cleared lol

  • wow, my current car could NEVER do that (lowered miata). thats why im selling it to buy an a4 :)

  • do you have your summer tires on still or snows?

  • Some idiot said that his M3 could do all this...i happen to be a very loyal Audi lover, my A4 had 210k and never once gave me an issue other then wear&tear stuff. engines are made to go beyond the distance and of course the qUATTRO FUN!

  • Yes it could....RS4 instead of an S4

  • that's what I love about the b5 s4. It CAN be RS4 with reasonable mods.

  • that's one nice s4 awd is awesome!

  • AUDI!

  • this could be good commercial for audi and quattro.

  • That actually looks really tight. I wanna do that with mine... but I live in Southern California....

  • audis love the snow, like they were made for snow driving almost

  • Snow tires?

Awesome videos anyway, thanks to share :-)

  • ahh i miss snow

  • haha thats awesome, what a brave soul getting sideways in snow that deep, love audi's.

  • Go see my video, it was deep snow like that. And there was NO WAY a 2 wheel drive car was even gonna get in the parking lot!

  • can't wait to dump my RWD c-class for one of these.

  • winters comming to an end and I dident make a video for you. But I've drifted in some pretty deep snow. If its fresh deep snow which in the vid it looks like it is then its easy. Gets harder to drift in snow thats been on the ground for awhile

  • sure... how much there mr. scootmcgrute. considering its a rather opinionated point and therefore not really a true winner but ya go ahead make a bet

  • You would be surprised at how much gas that takes!

I did that alot and it is worth it!

  • fucking nice video love IT !

  • ok i'm sorry, reving the fcuk out of ur motor on inconsistent surfaces with this kind of AWD system is actually good for your car. I stand corrected..... basicaly I wouldn't treat an expensive car like this, unless it wasn't mine or it was stolen

  • some of us buy cars like this cuz they are a joy to drive if i didnt want to drive like this i would have an a4 and saved myself 6 grand, these cars are built for it. Or should i go out buy a ferrari and make sure to never spin the tires or FLOOR IT god forbid and take the engine above 4000, its a damn sports car ths is what its made for. i feel bad for you that dont do this cuz you are too afraid to enjoy your car.

  • agreed

  • you say that now... but when you actually own one, and you come out to your car in a stormy snowy night towards your s4, keys in hand ready to start the ignition. the temptation will get to you. engine still running strong. the only thing im worried about is hitting a hidden pothole underneath knocking out the bearing/axle/wheel off.

  • yeah, because that happens all the time when it snows. seriously, have you ever driven in snow?

  • haha looks like fun, hard on the car though. you need a $300 shit box for this....

  • "hard on the car though"

uhhh, it's funny that you are actually completely wrong and the opposite is true

  • mate, u got no idea. i've been a mechanic for 5 years, but it doesn't take one to know that reving a car that hard with out much load will cause damage to the motor and driveline.

  • you can not driffting in snow with RWD dude

  • Take that BMW and Mercedes...

  • audi makes the best cars around. rs4>m3. give me 4 wheels spinning anyday over 2... 4>2

  • Shit, I hit the down hand instead of the u hand. Should be +3

  • Fajnie też tak umiem,żaden problem

  • AWD+snow=good times. The only bad part is the vibration from the snow in the wheels at highway speeds.

  • Totally true! The vibrations are brutal.

  • Yeah, you gotta get it out before the heat from the brakes makes it ice!

  • sick video Chris. A++!

  • how are you going to destroy a cluch in the snow?

  • u can blow it cause whenever u spin tires like that at high rpms like that on no load, u can blow ur clutch or even tranny. its not good 4 the car at all

  • LOL

  • wow very nice! wish i can do that, looks like fun

  • nagyon jó, grat. brutal:D

  • esta muy guapo el video

  • beautiful car man!!!!!!!!

  • Great vid and nice driving

  • rs4 avant is nicer tho

  • thats stupid. they can't be compared.

  • nice car
