Whether or not Iraq was an imminent threat is a matter of opinion. It's a judgement call. That call is made by the President. Even if all 16 of those advisors told Bush that Iraq wasn't a threat, it's the President's opinion that counts. Bugliosi's argument is patently absurd.

The problem with these two guys, and millions of people in the United States, is that they're going on their feelings. 9/11 being created by the US is totally unacceptable to them, and so they immediately reject it, and go into massive denial. Whether or not Iraq was an imminent threat is a matter of opinion. It's a judgement call. That call is made by the President. Even if all 16 of those advisors told Bush that Iraq wasn't a threat, it's the President's opinion that counts. Bugliosi's argument is patently absurd.

@Forumgehts If you read his books and other interviews he has had, he expressly says that the US law system, does not take citizens of other nations killed abroad. H is extremely sympathetic towards the iraqis and afghans who died (particularly in the first chapter). The latter could be brought forward later on after the trial, but the main point here is that over 4000 US soldiers have been delibretely murdered. Morning Joe is a liar and an idiot.

While I agree they were stupid enough to go in the first place, their death is useful for one purpose, to get bush convicted of murder. The document clearly states that bush blair rice and some dimplomats were in a meeting, when bush (who was angry that the inspectors had not found WMD's) was willing to carry out a falseflag operation and provoke saddam by painting US planes in UN colours. If Saddam fired on these then the US and britain would have a case to go to war.

Before the Iraq war (and even now) we saw the biggest civil rights movement possibly in human history, aghainst the war. In italy, for example millions of people muslims, jews, hindus, jains, far right parties, people from all classes got together to protest against the war. It is true that Saddam used WMDs on his own people, but that did NOT mean in anyway that he was an imminent threat to the security of the U.S. Bugliosi explains in this video how Bush manipulated information, and then went on to lie and say Iraq was connected with 9/11, and was an imminent threat to the U.S.
Bush, in his criminality, was careful not to use the words "imminent threat" because he knew he might get in trouble with this later. His tracks are well covered, we'll see what happens

All wars. It is required that the occupying or attacking power takes care not to destroy the infrastructure necessary for civilian life... eg. hospitals, water works, food distribution centres. The Central Clinic in Fallujah for example was deliberately bombed by F16s (repeated bombing, not just one errant bomb)
