I know a lot of people have been asking you this, but I'm really confused to either choose macbook air (same as your specs) or the 2.4 ghz 13 pro. For editing would we find a big difference? Could the air do the works? Im gonna be editing a lot pf pics, hd videos, and music. Thanks!
@aaaaaamad1 Oh no problem. As long as I can keep up with the comments I'll do my best to answer them haha. I would say if your going to be doing a lot of video and sound stuff like it sounds I would recommend the pro. Cause as much as I liked my air more power is a time saver. So if you want to save some major time, go with the more powerful machine. The MacBook Air just isn't there yet, as far as power and ultra portability in one computer goes. Hope that helps. Good luck!
is the i7 update worth it? i mean it costs 150$ and maybe you won't get so much more power for the money. i want to surf the web, watch hd movies and maybe code something in Xcode. what do you would recommend to me? greets from germany :)
@TouchWorld3G Greetings :) You know, unless your going to do a lot of video compression, or editing in iMovie or Final Cut. I would say no, your better off saving the $150. The only reason I got the i7 was more for the speed when I do editing. I think for what you wanna do the i5 should work nicely. Hope that helps. Good luck!
@jesseromo01 Really depends what you want to do. If you need a power house laptop then the Pro is your choice. If processing power isn't the 1st thing you care about, along with a more storage then the Air is a good bet. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
i am getting an iMac for my home edit but i wanna get a laptop so i can still work while i am in a cafe or travelling, do you recommend this one or i pay little bit more and get the 2.2GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7 macbook pro?
sure i cant compare preformance but i am really thinking can the Air do editing?
@Basharalqaissi Thats kinda a hard call. I would say for light HD video editing the MacBook Air is outstanding. If your planing on doing a lot of video editing on it then I would say step up to the MacBook Pro. I would say if you go with the Pro get as much as you can for the money you have, but the 2.2 isn't that substantial. I would max the memory out on it, 8 gigs should be good. The more memory for video editing the better. Good luck! If you need to know anything else feel free to ask.
@DJAJ101 well thats why i am asking you cos almost everyday i open apple store and do the configurations and stare at them trying to decide for the last month, i will get the top of the rangeas iMac, the 3.4 i7 16Gb Ram, 2GB graphic. that will stick home, but because i move alot and i like to work sometimes in cafes or while travelling i like a light weight laptop! but i know it wont do me as good as a macbook pro! still cant decide a pro or Air :S
@Basharalqaissi Yeah I know. I would say if your going to do 95% of your work on the iMac then the MacBook Air is perfect. I use it as my mobile editing machine, and only really gets used when I travel and need to edit on the fly. The rest of my work is all done on my Mac Pro. That works for me and my needs, but hope that helps a little. It really does depend on your uses and how much you want to edit on the go.
@coolandchocolate I would say it depends on what your looking for. In my experiences the iPad is more fluid and responsive as far as the experience goes. I recommend the iPad. It really depends on what you want and think though. Hope that helps.
Can you run 720/1080p on YouTube without the fps chugging? Especially 1080p. I don't care about battery life.. Thanks.

@nintendonick Yes you can. I've been able to play both 720p & 1080p content. YouTube and quicktime files with no lag or shuttering.
