That crap can take on the Camry in the US but not the Mondeos, Passats, C5s, 408s and Lagunas. It has no steering feel whatsoever. It's like driving a joywheel.

Some people just cant admit how far Hyundai has come from. Yes it is not German, comparing this to a Mercedes is stupid. But against the Japanese, try and find a Japanese, mid sized family car with the same equipment. Bluetooth, leather, start stop button, rear sensors and I guarantee its well beyond $42k.

Grow up and believe beyond the stereotypes.

I absolutely love this car for its design its world class. Honestly i'd prefer this design over the new toyota and mazda cars anyday. The premium looks so good the only down side is a new i45 (with 0km) is about $32 000 in Australia and the premium like $5000 more no way i can afford it =(

AUTO DOOR LOCK DOES NOT WORK in new i45 I have been disabled by factory. Only to be activated by Dealer, but I have read multi forums every where Dealer has not clue how to activate it. So please check this out if you are buying it.

Hyundai engine is developed by american,korean and japan its a joint venture. Chrysler,hyundai kia uses these aluminium engines.

Toyota mentioned they did not fear any american car makers except for Hyundai. Why? Hyundai is catching up in looks, quality and reliability. Hyundai will soon be up there with toyota and mazda and honda soon.

what is the difernce between the i40 and i45 it looks the same model or is it next gerneration of the hyundai Grandeur ?? its looks nice luxury , also we still waiting for the i40 here in the Netherlands it should be come in 1st half next year

i40 is a whole new only-for-Europe sedan...

although it's based on the Sonata YF platform it's smaller than the rest of the world's Sonata (i45 in austrailia).... search "i-flow" and you will get the sense of what i40 will look like...

The i40 will came to europe in estate look in March and in sedan in September 2011. The sedan should be similar to the i-flow. I think they will change the back, the proportion lenght of the front and all the interior

This isn't actually a review... it's just a promotional video by Hyundai. You can tell because a) everything said about the car is positive, and mostly factual, and b) the voice over guy is obviously a professional, and not a journalist. Very cleverly disguised though :)

@mrseapig hmm you know what, maybe it's as good as the Lexus IS250. I say this because I've stepped inside the Premium i45 today at a dealership and... phuk me dead! Such a contrast to it's replaced NF Sonata - I mean the cabin felt more of a luxury car than sitting in an average sedan. I looked around to speak to a salesman to see if it was possible to take the car for a test drive, but they were all busy with seeing other people. I have to admit, I walked out of the place with a positive vibe.
