There are some great tabla artists in the world like Zakir ji, Tari Ji and others. Usually, I don't mistake of comparing musicians. Apart from musical skills, nobody can come even close to Zakir ji in terms of personality and character. The qualities like smartness, liveliness, presence of mind, politeness, humor, humanity everything that he has in his personality is unparalleled and incomparable! He does NOT PLAY rhythm, but he LIVES the rhythm! All this can be felt by watching him performing!
I never tire from hearing this raga played by Pandit Ramesh Mishra but also the magical hands of Ustad Zakir Husain .. Just a wonderful piece of Indian Classical Music at its best. Hari Aum ..
@ysmzaika the concept of freedom is lost on you. people are free to worship zakir and he is free to worship any other person/stone/being/inanimate object. why dont you mind your own business, and stop bringing irrelevant issues to a classical music video. buzz off.
I HAVE ONE REQUEST TO YOU ALL THAT I HAVE JUST STARTED LEARNING TABLA AND I AM 10 YEARS OLD SO CAN YOU TELL ME AT WHAT TIME DOES HE PLAY 1ST KAIDA,2 KAIDA OR DHERETERE KAIDA OR TEENTAL THEKA OR ANY SIMPLER OR BASIC VAIATION
First and foremost Zakir Hussain is a musician. When he plays tabla, this is his religion. He touches the feet if others because they deserve this recognition of respect. He has said so in interviews.
@ysmzaika hey dickie !,,,in this post UST. Jee touches feet of some other great artists...(this act is forbidden in islam also ) dont fuken dictate wat one can do or cant in a free country,,,,oncr again he did not acquire his education at a madrassah like u , u brainwashed , narrow minded noob..looks like u live in acave in U>S>A.,,,takin about islam doesnt mean hes madrassah educated,,u chut,,go n hav a life ,,

@diabolusX9 I don't have a paying account. I originally started with a 10 min limit and they increased it over time. I don't make money or anything, just enjoy sharing top quality tabla with others.
@diabolusX9 Once you have uploaded a certain amount of successful videos, i think you can post very long videos. At least that's what happened with my account.
@madanmccoon123 Originally I could only post 10 min long videos. Recently they increased the limit to 15 minutes and then a few months later they changed it to over 15 minutes. I have not paid or anything, just been posting good quality material that people watch.
@KumarTabla But youtube just asked my mobile number for verification and increased my time limit. And i hadn't uploaded a single video till then so its not possible for my channel to be popular till then.

ZAKIR BHAI- ANOTHER NAME FOR "
NEXT TO PERFECTION."
bhur12 1 month ago
@bhur12
I totally agree and believe this. He is a perfectionist and his another name is perfection.

@bihagsutube
The only reason I used next to perfect is because it is only God who is perfect. But God can make anyone perfect if he chose to.
