I saw the Dynasty tour in June 1979 at the Carolina Coliseum in Columbia, SC. This was the 1st tour that Gene did the flying act. It was a total surpise. I saw the stage hands up there before and between sets, but I sure wasn't expecting that. On the current Alive 35 tour, the harness lift failed and Gene had to be lowered back down. Whiteface opened. Anybody remember them? Please post if you do.

Dude that was my first concert..I was 12..biggest Kiss fan ever at the time. Im from Summerville Sc orig...I remember every song to this day and will never forget that night.. I remember they played I was made for loving you and the album was not even out yet. Do you remember the fake Ace that came out before the show..walking thru the stands? how about the pot smell? 41 now and will never forget that night with my friend and his step father. The Dynasty album was already out when they came to Columbia. I remember the fake Ace. They only played 2 songs from Dynasty: I Was Made for Loving You & 2,000 Man which Ace did his solo from. But they also played the 4 solo hits, too.

Ya one of my favrite kiss songs i think that all of the armor costumes are good for it but gene got rid of the dynasty armor so the destroyer armor was is and always will be genes best armor

This is nothing new. Gene has fucked up on more songs than any other artist I know. There were times when Ace's guitar was really out of tune and out of synch, and Peter's drumming was too slow but at least they knew what they were playing.

@starchild797 Who can forget the Beth fiasco from this show? At another show, he was seen yelling at someone before he came on stage for Beth. At another show, he quit drumming during Move On. If that weren't enough, he and Gene almost got into it at another show.
