love the resolution on this monitor. super sharp! however ive been playing dead space 2(very dark videogame) and i cant get the brightness and contrast the way i like it. what settings do you guys use?

I have same monitor luv it, but now its about to go out. Its showing blurryness double vison of words. I've owned it for about 2-3yrs now its starting to show this? I'm concern, still luv the quailty of it more than other brands.

It does come with monitor disc, I havent installed it, I just hooked it up normally.

If anyone the solution for this comment back.

Hey, i was wondering if you could help me. I have a 22inch samsung monitor.. and the dvi cable makes the image look blurry.. could you tell me why?

Try bunping up the resolution through your control panel. This usually helps at max resolution!

well the max for this monitor is 1920 by 1080 and it can do that with analog, but with the digital it is like 1200 by 600..

Aw, that's unfortunate - that's why it's so blurry! If it has a VGA connection, invest in a VGA or HDMI cable to get the full resolution our of your HD monitor!

Usually switching to digital won't have much of a performace increase.

@marquesbrownlee Hp just makes quality products for very good prices! and u said u got it for 89$ and thats a very good deal! excelent deal actually! the 20 inch ive got cost I forgot but somewhere between $200 to $230 and this one u have cost I remember around $150 to $200 so u got an excelent deal! You will enjoy this moniter well! what I like about it is that in the picture settings it has preset settings and they look good! from movie to games photos etc and the monitor has nice Picture!

Really nice monitor dude! I have the 20 inch version of this at 1680x1050! Both are similiar! It was between this and a samsung monitor and went with the hp one! what a great choice it was very nice!

@marquesbrownlee to be honest when u buy from hp u will get quality products! thats like now my choice of pcs second choice is sony but its more expensive thats why I like hp more :D and products for office! Its lasted me a very long time! Ive had an hp pc with an hp monitor the one I mentioned for about Id say 6 to 8 months! and its working like weve just bought it! Same thing with an hp printer my family just bought! works perfectly! Also the hp laptop im on right now! No problems!

Usually I email smaller companies (or they email me) asking me to review a product.
