I'm not a fan of Chris or David but I do like Matt Smith. Honesty I prefer older men to play the Doctor. The unique thing about the older doctors was that they were older and intelligent heros rather than an action heros like the newer Dr Whos. There are plenty of action heros around. In the next Dr. bring back an older hero that uses science, skepticism and logic to solve problems. Thanks.
You, sir, have said it brilliantly. All the Doctors are different and that's what makes it interesting! I've even seen some of the older Doctor Who, and it's still great! Matt Smith is new, fun, and exciting. David Tennant was a lot more emotional, but still energetic at the same time. And, occasionally, you still see a bit of that with the 11th Doctor. Alll of them are amazing, and I was waiting to see what would happen next with 11 after 10 regenerated.
TESTIFY!!! You sir have the right idea, people have to accept that the Doctor will change, I love David's Doctor, and technically he's my favourite Doctor, but because of the time I was born, I have a special place for Paul McGann, and he is a fantastic Doctor, as is Pat Troughton, and when the time comes for Matt Smith to undo his bow tie, I'll be sad to see him go, but then happy to see who they get to replace him, I vote Caleb Ross, Tim Curry or (to be fair to the sexes), Dani Harmer!
David Tennant was not the best Doctor. He is honestly one of the Doctors I might actually HATE. His emotions were all over the place. His arrogance and and constant wanting to be alone. Although I do not dis Tennant or his acting. Also my favorite Doctor is the THIRD.
I love David Tennant and he is my Doctor and i have a hard time loving Matt Smith but thats me. I do love both writers though. and I have things from both DT and MS that I love and hate. but over all I love Doctor Who no matter The Doctor or the writer. but thats me, not everyone will feel the same, thats one of the great things about the show, so many Doctors to love or hate everyone can have a different choice. great video!
Aaaw, I want to hug you for this :) You are a true fan of the show. I don't get the whole RTD vs. Moff and DT vs. MS bashing neither. But to be fair: there are brainless comments on both sides. The die-hard Smith- and/or Moff-Fans aren't any better than the members of Tennantology.
You sir, are a legend. EVERYTHING you say is correct, good man. Matt Smith is on a par with Tom Baker in my opinion, he is incredible. Tennant was too cocky I think.
However, I have an issue with something I have spotted. Your tiny classic DVD collection in the background!! Sort it out man! I've got nearly 50 ;)
@DoctorWho50Years I have many more classics. I moved house recently and I have a whole box to go on my shelf. It's just mccoys there, i have the rest waiting to be put there with the rest :)
THANK YOU for making a video of exactly what I've been saying. Sure, he was good, but they were obviously running out of ideas. Waters of Mars to End of TIme Part Two were less than savoury. For a whole year after watching Journey's End, I lost all respect. But now, with a new Doctor, we've had a fresh start. It is better than ever, and Matt now ranks high on my list of Doctors, right next to Jon Pertwee and Chris Eccleston. Ignore the haters, you're completely right. <3
You deserve a medal! It's good to know that there is actual intelligence and level headedness in this fan base, I completely agree 100% with what you are saying here. And it saddens me that in spite of making this perfectly reasoned argument and actually saying you don't agree with the title, these Tennant fans STILL attack you for it. I don't consider myself a fan any more as I don't want to be associated with these kind of people. But I'm glad there are at least some true fans out there.
You bare small similarities to Rattigan from season's 4 The Sontaran Stradgem. Hint: Go and commit suicide at a alien space ship. Another Hint: Buy some hormones because you sound like my 5 year old neice.
@MODSandROCKERS nothing really, i just was bored and decided to troll on your video... those sundays can be thedeath of you dont you think. Anyways, its always fun causing some sort of a riot on Youtube.
@LifterC3 Hint. Get of YouTube for having a stuck up, opinionated and close minded rationality and do the world a favour and never come on YouTube again? Reasons? I don't have any, so neither do you, so shut up.
@LifterC3 and you yourself must be Tennant fan.... a sad case of what WHO is about... He is NOT Dr. Who... and neither is you. as an American WHO fan... don't commit suicide as you suggest ... just fuck off.
@LifterC3 If all you want to do with your time is find youtube videos to chuck hate at get off youtube. if you had bothered to watch the video you would have realised this guy has many valid points. David Tennant himself would most probably agree with him. Because he left doctor who, he knew his time was up so left. lucky for us fans we have still been left with the programme we have enjoyed our whole lives as much as our parents did before us. To try and belittle @modsandrockers is disgusting!!
@LifterC3 And you bare many similarities to a certain part of the female anatomy. Hint: Remove the David Tennant figure from your anus and go find something to do with your pathetic, worthless life.
Ok I am a David tennant big fan and I agree with you but I just want to tell you and stand up for myself not all people who love David tennant are like that I still watch doctor who and Matt is ok and I have looked at it as if I didn't like David tennant but I still think Matt is ok and thats my opinion too so I think I have made my point I think?
Yeah, he's a famous actor, but he's A PERSON. A person you don't really know. "Hate" is much too strong of a word for this situation. Now, I didn't watch your video - just the first two seconds of it that played before I paused it. I don't care if you ARE mainly ranting about his fans who you don't like (and you really shouldn't hate them either, but that isn't the focus of this comment). Please, just change the title. Really.
@qwertyuiopqwertywert If you carry on beyond the two seconds, i state, that i do not hate david tennant, he's a lovely guy, who i have a great deal of respect for in many ways. The title is only to catch people's attention.
I don't hate the fans either, like i say, it's opinions, i'm just stating what i get irritated by at times. My own opinions.
@MODSandROCKERS I reiterate that it doesn't matter WHAT the title is for. You still shouldn't talk about hating anyone you don't really know, even if you "don't really." Using that to catch people's attention is still hurtful. Yes, there's hardly any chance that David Tennant would actually see this video. But that doesn't make it right, especially to all the DT fans out there.
I just love Doctor Who, and although DT is "my" Doctor, a whole handful of my favorite episodes are with Matt Smith....I think it's just getting used to "yes" the Doctor changes. But that's what the -character- does...now I want to go back and re-watch everything...
look your comments are spot on but, change the tag to I hate David Tennant fans. I loved 9, 10, 11, and 1-8 too, but I love DW, so i'm sure I'll love 12 too when he comes!
@heroicmasterchief I wouldnt say immatureness, its just my personal opinion. The title of the video is just to catch people. As I say, i don't hate David, I think he's fantastic. The video is aimed at SOME of his fans. Not all. I have respect for other opinions, and these are my personal view.
Likewise, a fan of the people who make it. Without some people, it would have never come back, and never been the success that it is.
I had to convince my sister to keep on watching doctor who after tennant left. I kept on telling her that matt was just as brilliant as every other doctor has been. She gave it a go in the end and now she loves him :) Her girlfriend still doesn't watch it though "because Matts too young" :| It's really sad that people dont even give him a chance, Matt's a very good actor and such a mad, brilliant doctor :)
And in the end, the change is what makes doctor who doctor who wright?
Honestly don't really like the 11th Doctor.I like him, but I can't love him the way I loved 9 and 10. He sometimes just seems...kind of stupid - which is NOT how I imagine the Doctor (e.g. in "The lodger" he just had no idea about human traditions at all! Why?)
But I still watch every episode, and some of my favourites even are with 11,,just because I love the storyline. I even love "the lodger", because it was SO funny!
But still, I'm looking forward to a new Doctor who isn't as childish...
Spot on my friend, spot on. you made some fantastic points about Steven Moffat and how he writes his episodes. Matt smith is a good actor and made Dr Who is own. However I do agree that that he has made it a little complicated. I do understand the episodes , because im old enough but for the younger viewers, i think it will be more differcult.
I personally think Tennant is MY Doctor. I love 11, and Moffats all right, but in Series 5/6 I honestly lost the emotional connection to the characters, not like RTD's era. Just being honest, don't hate me. I love change, but I'm not as favourable to Moffat/Matt. I hope in the 50th anniversary that Moffat and RTD work together, 'cause they both bring a different aspect. RTD = Emotion
I'd say that Tennant is my doctor but I really, really appreciate Matt as well and Moffat's episodes have been my favourites ever since. I have to agree with you, though. The changing Doctors are a huge and immensly important part of this show and a thing I really love about it. I can't understand why people are complaining about that. The evolution of this show is so perfectly done and it's definitely heading into the right direction. Kudos to you for making this video!
You are so right! I didnt like david when. He first started... But now im a tennant fan.. Then I.didnt like matt before he started but now I really like him.. So the moral is.. You need.to give every dr a chance.
People claim to be Dr Who fans and yet they do nothing but complain about it. These people annoy me greatly. I agree with you if you don't like it anymore just don't bloody watch it and stop moaning about it. Leave those of us who do like it to watch and enjoy it in peace.
I'm a massive Tennant Fan girl but I started to watch Doctor Who before him. I miss him a lot but I gave Matt a chance. Main reason was because when David became The Doctor I didn't like him at first. Matt and Moffat are amazing and I'm like you but an epic David Tennant fangirl. I understood when David left it was his time and the one thing I hate is other Tennant fangirls ( most of the haters are indeed woman) because all they want is David back. It's cool when a new Doctor comes along and Sm
david was awesome :D but if people think the show gets lamer with another doctor, they are just his fans, not fans of the show... so i agree with you 100% :D
you should NOT die and you ARE a true fan. The people who constantly compare Smith to Tennant are quite frankly unfair and BIASED! No one gave Tennant a hard time because he wasn't as good as Eccleston did they? Also cheers so much for saying how Eccleston is the one who should get the credit for bringing the show back. He's such an underestimated doctor yet I think he's one of the best, but that doesn't stop me from liking other doctors. Conclusion - true fan accepts new doctors
@tblakeTV Hard to say, I'm one of the generation where there was no doctor who. I was born in the final year of Sylvester McCoy so I have a soft spot for him, especially rememberance of the Daleks, but my first episode i ever watched was a Tom Baker, but when Doctor Who came back to our screens, my first Doctor was Christopher Eccleston. I love them all for different reasons. To be honest, isnt it just the same person?
hi! i'm italian..doctor who isn't so popular!but i can definitely tell you "i love david tennant", i fall in love with DW since the first time i saw the pilot of the season1 by mistake on the italian television channel..then i saw all the episodes 'till now!!!! david's doctor gave me the chance to discover every film, play comedy or skatch where david tennant played, but just making the difference between david tennant and DW. I love every DW! sorry for my english!:D hope it's well explained!
I just joined youtube just to comment on this post.
I LOVE David Tennant. He's my absolute favorite actor. I've seen everything he's ever done that an American could get ahold of. But here's the thing. Doctor Who is about change. If you really love Doctor Who you roll with the changes of companions AND Doctors. Second, if you're really a Tennant fan you want to see him be brilliant in other things. I'm enjoying both Matt Smith and seeing DT in new projects.
I have a lot of respect for Matt Smith for even taking the role after Tennant. I started watching the show recently, and I watched episodes from every Doctor before I decided I liked the newer series' the best. The writing is so much better with Moffat, and Matt Smith does a great job. I am also only 15 and understand the show perfectly.
Very cool. I respect this and your views. I liked David very much but I think Matt is awesome. I don't think it is fair to compare them. I think that every Doctor brings something new to the role, which I find even more exciting and enthralling.
I loved the revived series but i want to become a proper whovian. Do i watch all the classic episodes or is watch all the episodes since 2005 good enough.
I aim to watch some of the Classic Whos. But as the last classic episode - which was technically the first attempt at resurrecting the show - was broadcast 157 days before I was born, I do at least have some sort of excuse. I've enjoyed all three of the latest Doctors, if I'm honest.
Very very much agree with everything on here. Its not about slating it, you put your opinion across but don't expect that means its set in stone and you are right, that's what people don't get. Completely agree with the fans who say they are the biggest fan when they've only watched since 05. I've been a fan since 1995 and I couldn't agree more that the change is always good, even if its not your cup of tea. Mint video Sam! Keep em up =D
I liked David as the Doctor, but his time on the the show was up. I appreciate every Doctor, and get annoyed when fans complain about a particular Doctor.
Also, on the topic of the show being confusing, I talk to a 5 year old relative of mine who I found out watches the show with his father, who I guess is also a Doctor Who fan, and he understands it fine. And he's five. FIVE. So it's obviously not too confusing.
I agree with you, although David stays my favourite /BANG/ No, I like Matt, but David Tennant is one of my favourite actors anyway (even if you put away DW stuff), because every character he played, just because of him, it turn into gold. I like all the Doctors anyway, especially... Peter Davidson (another one so hated) and Smith. And for Steven Moffat, I totally agree that his episodes stories are far away the best ones, with all the timey wimey stuff...My favourites initials aren't DT, but DW
I totally agree! Luckily i am a doctor who fan. Ha!... Russell i hated you ever since the end of time and miracle day hammered the nail in the coffin.
You might not consider me a Whovian because I only started watching Doctor Who properly in 2005. But that's because I was 10. (Plus, I had watched older episodes before when I was little) But I consider myself a Whovian because I don't mind change at all. You're opinion is exactly how I feel. People judged the new series with Matt Smith way too quickly. To be honest, I was glad to see David because he wasn't as good at the end. But I do like David. Chris is most likely to be my favourite.
Finally, someone else who has recognised that the show moves on. Everyone has their Doctor, yet when people cannot except that a Doctor regenerates, surely you do not understand the concept of the show. The show's been running 50 years and it can't have failed to entertain people if it's still going. Maybe some people don't like Moffat's complicated writing, but they seem to be the people from what I've seen who can't concentrate for five minuets on a plot. Moffat makes us think. Thank goodness.
You definitely have some good points, and even though I love Tennant's time as the Doctor, Matt Smith is equally awesome. I have not been a fan very long but change is one of the many things makes this show so unique and interesting, to see how each Doctor evolves throughout each story. Moffat is a good writer, but I can't help but be critical of his plots. But we haven't seen all of what he has in store yet. (And it bothers me when people hate on Matt Smith just because they loved Tennant)
David Tennant was my Doctor (though I don't really think I'm a 'Tenantite' (nice word by the way)) and Matt Smith is about 0.02% behind him in my opinion. They're both amazing. And I agree with pretty much everything you said. It's annoying whenever I hear people saying the show's been crap since DT left. Really, it's not. And I prefer Moffat as the head writer. I really like the new, complicated plots as I find them really engaging. RTD's were just a bit too simple.
i think you have a very good point.i like the way the stories flow in all of the new series but recently the stories have become a bit childish. do be honest i dont really like any of the new series but i've watched every surviving episode of the classic series and i love it. the effects were terrible but the stories were fantastic.
I was like that at first... And then I watched The Eleventh Hour... I changed my mind so badly... :D Thanks for saying those wonderful things, it's good to see real fans for once... :)
The producers did admit once the new color daleks didn't work out as well, but that's the thing, they try out new stuff, some work and some don't, and they learn from it. The show didn't survive till now because it's stayed the same the whole time. Matt Smith is my Doctor, but Tennant was equally terrific. I love all of em. RTD was great and so is Moffat. Their styles are different and they bring something new. Not everything appeals to everyone. This vid was hilariously true. Nice stuff!
I love Matt smith's doctor ,but i don't always love the episodes, probably two thirds of them. Also i have to spend half hour after most of them explaining to my kids ( 5, 8 and 10) what has just happened.
Which i never had to do before, and they were younger then.
We all really loved the christmas episode though, brilliantly christmassy.
That was a great video. I must admit the episodes that Steven wrote b4 he became head writer were good. The only good episodes with Matt Smith by Steven Moffat are: The Eleventh Hour, The Beast Below, The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang, Space (Comic Relief), The Impossible Astronaut/Day of The Moon, A Good Man Goes to War, Let's Kill Hiter and The Wedding of River Song. There are some others in my opinion were rubbish!!!
The best advice is - stay away from internet fandom. I basically dropped all Who forums last year and am enjoying being a fan again more than I have for years not having to listen to idiots.
i like these points but i dont really like stevan moffet i mean he makes fantastic first and last episodes but the rest of the series isnt that great i would love to have russel doing the season and steven doing the beginning and ending, steven likes to do a stroyline that takes around 3 seasons to completel [not actually but thats what it seems like] and russel's idea of a season finale is DALEKS! LOTS OF THEM! so i mean they both have thier up's and downs though i do prefer russel
I punched the SUBSCRIPTION button with my fist and the sound was triumph mixed with an 80's guitar riff. I suggest you all do the same (Subscribe). This man-child has wisdom beyond his years.
I man-love you, sir. You reached into my heart and mind, and spread it like peanut butter on the screen. Please return my soul back to me, and speak with your own voice. However, I'm flattered. ;)
i completely agree with you! i'm a new who fan (and have seen a coulpe of classic who eps and love them as well) and tennant is my fav but i do completely love smith and moffat! they're awsome i can't believe there are others out there who dare call themselves fans and then bail out and criticize when change happens! change is part of the show and also why i love it!
I like every Doctor I've seen but like you said we all have OUR Doctor and Matt Smith will forever be MY Doctor. IMO, Amy Pond is the best companion ever. Of course, I'll be sad when they leave but as long as the writing is still brilliant I'll continue to watch and enjoy. Also I think Steven Moffat is a genius. Anyone who watches Sherlock should agree. :)
hm.... I dont know much about David Tennet I just thought he was a great doctor and hes really cute! but I do agree his fans are insane! The newer Doctor Who's are AMAZING even without David. The new doctor (I don't know his name) Is really good if not better!
I think Moffat is pure brilliance in small doses, with RTD shaping the show and Moffat adding some eps in each series it was perfection. When Moffat does only 3 eps of Sherlock he's genius. Common factor? small amounts of Moffat = perfect.
I agree with you. I really didn't like series 6, but it might have room for improvement! David Tennant (the 10th Doctor's character) is probably the worst Doctor for me, I mean, he had a love relationship with Rose, he was insane and he cried in the end of time because he didn't want to die! That's just my opinion, but I can't see why he's so popular!
I love Doctor Who as a show, I don't care WHO plays The Doctor, as long as he's still The Doctor. There are a few episodes of Stephen Moffat's that I don't really like and I kind of don't like River, but on the other hand I love Amy, she's one of my favorite companions, and I think Matt Smith does an amazing job.
Couldn't agree more. Tennant was great, but Matt Smith has become my favorite. (haven't delved into the original series, however. I'm more of a casual fan, and haven't had the time yet.) But I'm sure that when Matt Smith leaves, I'll be eagerly waiting to see his replacement in action. :)
wise words here my friend! i'm only 19 yet many people are surprised when I say that my first Doctor was in fact Jon Pertwee, never the less all the actors who took on the role of The Doctor are incredible in their own way and if "fans" can't accept the one MAIN theme in Doctor who (Change) then really they're not true fans in my eyes. Again, wise words my friends
I understand what you are saying. But not all fans of David Tennant are like that.
Yes, I may have started watching it properly with The Christmas Invasion. And my favourite episodes are David Tennant ones, which are School Reunion and Stolen Earth/Journeys End. But I like them for another reason. That reason being Elisabeth Sladen. I may not be a Matt Smith fan but I haven't stopped watching it. In fact, I have gone back and started watching Classic Who.
I agreee too. I was a fan of David pre Doctor Who and remain a fan of him now, but personly I prefur Matts Doctor though he looks so young he seems so old and is so qurky. All the Doctors have had thire good points. You can judge fans with 3 simple questions:
Your first doctor?
Your Faveorite doctor?
Your Doctor?
I know alot of people who would answer Tennent for all these, I don't. I 'll just give you numbers
Ah, yes, the Tennant fans. They are split into two factions - "Tennantites", and "Tenoobs". You've given a pretty good description of the first, they piss me off too, but Tenoobs more so. These are the people who call themselves "The Doctor" and generally pretend to be him, whilst also being Tennantites. It annoys me when they're all like "I'm Doctor Who's biggest fan. More than you!" But they don't know the first thing about the classic series.
@MODSandROCKERS Which Christmas special were you talking about? I love A Christmas Carol but TDTWTW is a bit terrible. Great video. I believe all episodes from The Empty Child - The Wedding Of River Of Song by Moffat are brilliant.!
I Agree with you totally that Steven Moffet is a fantastic writer. But his work on doctor who can sometime seem rushed when you compare it to his work On Sherlock series.Maybe becouse few episodes and more time to concentrate on story .maybe dr who should go back to classic way of having 1 story over 4 episodes or just less episode.so we get more quilty
i mean i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE david more than life but u kind of have a point when ur talking about mat smith taking the role i mean i was like that but i tool a chance and ill never stop watching the show
you highlighted every point that I'm constantly putting out there myself, the idea of the show; its a constant change, just like real life constantly changes. I was getting tired of Tennant's emo doctor, whinging and forlorne towards the end, I was so excited when he regenerated into Matt Smith's Doctor and that's the excitement about the show, a slight uncertainty of what will happen next, and that's something Moffat captures really well with his storylines too!
Sam Hunt, if I was where you are right now, I would give you a MASSIVE hug and THANK YOU for saying all that stuff. It SERIOUSLY had to be said. I agree that people have their own opinions; but yeah, those people are annoying me aswell. I'm just SERIOUSLY glad that there's a group page on Facebook saying
"It was David Tennant's choice to leave Doctor Who, so leave Matt Smith alone!"
I'm 12, and I COMPLETELY understand the show! Sometime's I have to watch it twice to hear an important line again to 100% understand it, but I think Doctor is perfect!! :D
I agree with you on the point of steven moffat being a fantastic writer but he dose lack the ability for fine tuning he dosent look at what he dose in detale enough. what im trying to say is that he sort of makes promisis and breaks them like, river songs sonic screwdriver it was david tennants modified and what we shouldnt have to do is make ecsguses for him and we say "oh he got it kept away somewear" and the fact how I say " fix every thing with a paradox" to much of moffat is not so good.
i love every doctor and love the fact they have their own unique traits..yes I miss David Tenant but Matt smith is brilliant!! If Matt was like David then that cuts out the whole point Of Dr who..
Dr who is one of those series that it will have bad episodes but you learn to live with it because the series all together have its good points the bad episodes sort of makes it what it is. Although I have to say I did not enjoy the christmas episode as much as you do but I guess thats the whole point
Some fans will always moan. There will always be differing opinions.
For me, the Christmas special was indeed "magical" and christmasy, but it lacked something big. I was left thinking "Oh, was that it? That was alright, but slightly naff." Kinda felt like even the youngest viewer would find it not enough. I mean, more Bill Bailey and Arabella Weir! And those robot creatures at the start! And just a tinky bit less silliness - like tumbling through space without a helmet just ruined the threat.
I can tolerate change. But doesn't mean I like it all... I find Moffat makes a mess of a Doctor Who script. His era as a Head Writer has been full of this, which does irritate me. Let's Kill Hitler for example was a timey wimey mess, which was painful to watch. But his finale, despite the fact we all understood it (despite what the media go on about), was a mess of a narrative. Doesn't mean I'm not going to stop watching it. I would prefer if he'd ease on it. So I agree, but disagree with you :)
you have this spot on, i have friends who have stopped watching the show before giving matt smith a chance, at the end of the day i wud say matt smith is more my doctor than tennant will be, i enjoyed tennant as the doctor he was gud but thinking about it, his doctor was a jack the lad who took everything as a serious disaster, where as matt smiths doctor is more along the lines of a man who takes nothing serious unless he needs to and mans up to it straight away.
Right I was one of the people but after the firth ep of matt smith I did change but I am a doctor who nerd and my best doctors r Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, David Tennant and Matt Smith so I agree with the overreacting when david tennant left doctor who
Most of his fans, i agree. The fans NEED to get over the fact he's gone. I shall post a response, to be honest I'm in your corner. But it would be fun to respond. Good to see you back, sir.
Yesyesyes. I totally agree, glad to see from the comments we're not the only ones. And to add to it: Russell T Davies lost it. E.g.- Last of the Time Lords, End of Time, Miracle Day. He knew it was time to go and he was right.
one of the best series in the franchise so far! I'm an old goat compared to the kids these days, and yeah I was one of the Tom Baker or else fans out there... but this year proved to me that one of my favorite imports is in still very good hands. I back you 100% from America!! Great Post!

What you have said, it is exactly true.

But I'm glad there are at least some true fans out there.

dwrox99 1 week ago
Please change the title. Really.
Really.
qwertyuiopqwertywert 1 week ago
@qwertyuiopqwertywert If you carry on beyond the two seconds, i state, that i do not hate david tennant, he's a lovely guy, who i have a great deal of respect for in many ways. The title is only to catch people's attention.
I don't hate the fans either, like i say, it's opinions, i'm just stating what i get irritated by at times. My own opinions.
MODSandROCKERS 1 week ago
@MODSandROCKERS I reiterate that it doesn't matter WHAT the title is for. You still shouldn't talk about hating anyone you don't really know, even if you "don't really." Using that to catch people's attention is still hurtful. Yes, there's hardly any chance that David Tennant would actually see this video. But that doesn't make it right, especially to all the DT fans out there.
qwertyuiopqwertywert 1 week ago
I am a fan of the people that makes doctor who awesome. Not of the doctor himself.
Without the amazig actors that have portrayed him doctor who wulnd't be anything.

MODSandROCKERS 2 weeks ago
@MODSandROCKERS Not a teen how disapointing... that would have explained your inmatureness. Yeah you look very young
For starters the video's title is misleading. You are winning about the fans of the show not even the actor.
Docotorwho is just a concept ,it wouldn't be anything without the great actors that have portrayed the doctor. Some people love David Tennant.
1.-I love Matt but Tennant is my doctor deal with it.
2- Fand dumb will alwys exist with any actor deal with it.
heroicmasterchief 1 week ago

Mizzsophiie 2 weeks ago

Moffat = Scary monsters/awesome speeches

you should NOT die and you ARE a true fan.

WC95Productions 2 months ago
Finally, someone else who has recognised that the show moves on. Everyone has their Doctor, yet when people cannot except that a Doctor regenerates, surely you do not understand the concept of the show. The show's been running 50 years and it can't have failed to entertain people if it's still going. Maybe some people don't like Moffat's complicated writing, but they seem to be the people from what I've seen who can't concentrate for five minuets on a plot. Moffat makes us think. Thank goodness.
LongStripyScarf 2 months ago
You definitely have some good points, and even though I love Tennant's time as the Doctor, Matt Smith is equally awesome. I have not been a fan very long but change is one of the many things makes this show so unique and interesting, to see how each Doctor evolves throughout each story. Moffat is a good writer, but I can't help but be critical of his plots. But we haven't seen all of what he has in store yet. (And it bothers me when people hate on Matt Smith just because they loved Tennant)
ArtemisJami3 2 months ago
David Tennant was my Doctor (though I don't really think I'm a 'Tenantite' (nice word by the way)) and Matt Smith is about 0.02% behind him in my opinion. They're both amazing. And I agree with pretty much everything you said. It's annoying whenever I hear people saying the show's been crap since DT left. Really, it's not. And I prefer Moffat as the head writer. I really like the new, complicated plots as I find them really engaging. RTD's were just a bit too simple.
Long live DW no matter what.

David Tennant (the 10th Doctor's character) is probably the worst Doctor for me, I mean, he had a love relationship with Rose, he was insane and he cried in the end of time because he didn't want to die! Yes, I may have started watching it properly with The Christmas Invasion. And my favourite episodes are David Tennant ones, which are School Reunion and Stolen Earth/Journeys End.

I Agree with you totally that Steven Moffet is a fantastic writer. But his work on doctor who can sometime seem rushed when you compare it to his work On Sherlock series.Maybe becouse few episodes and more time to concentrate on story .maybe dr who should go back to classic way of having 1 story over 4 episodes or just less episode.so we get more quilty

you highlighted every point that I'm constantly putting out there myself, the idea of the show; its a constant change, just like real life constantly changes.

TheHutchhickersGuide 2 months ago
I completely disagree Matt Smith copies David Tennant and all the rest of the Doctors!
jayhdrwhofan12 2 months ago
I totally agree with you!

@JohnHutch Then again, it can't be easy getting all those scripts, juggling this that and the other along with other massive shows like Sherlock.
JohnHutch 2 months ago
@JohnHutch I still love his work. I just think the christmas special was a bit of a let down. But still looking forward to his other work

Right I was one of the people but after the firth ep of matt smith I did change but I am a doctor who nerd and my best doctors r Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, David Tennant and Matt Smith so I agree with the overreacting when david tennant left doctor who
lucky12036 2 months ago

Great Post!
