This version is a playback from Rick Derringer's solo outing from his 1975 LP Spring Fever. John Siomos (drums), John Siegler (bass), Edgar Winter (organ, marimba, sax), and a bunch steel drum players (George I. Isaac, Alston Clewelyn Jack, Emmanuel Riley). Allen Nichols, Edgar Winter & Dan Hartman. The only "McCoy" being Rick Derringer.
@Raptorizor Well there is only about 3 years between them so when he was 17 she would have been 14 !! He is about 17 here if the video date of 1965 is correct. Oh and Suzi Quatro played bass , Rick Derringer ( Zehringer ) plays guitar- This one is an early Danelectro . Finally as you weren't born until 1971 How would you even know ?
@voxsupreme Well lets work it out from this. That dancer looks about 21 in the video. and it was 1965 so she would be 68 by now , even If she was 18 she would be 65 .- That's were she went .
However, she didn't seem particularly spontaneous ;she looked like a professional GO-GO dancer dressed in street clothes .That hip-shake is a difficult move for the untrained. !! Try it yourself if you don't believe me !!
@domnal This was a re-do of the original. The original one was in 1965. This was in 1972 if I remember correctly. You could tell by the way they're dressed here as opposed to how they were all in dark suits back in the early to mid 60's. And yeah the girl looks about 21, but she'd be about 60-62 not 68. Nonetheless, she's pretty old by now.
@MrSomename89 The date that flashes up is 1965 on this Video so I was just working from that !! You are quite right about the look I had my hair about that length in 1972 - I was 21 . So I must be pretty old by now too !! But Ricky D is about 64 now.
O.K. working from 1972 Rick would have been 24 and the dancer looked older than him but we will never know without a birth certificate as young women have a nasty habit of not being as old as they look. !!
sloopykins, paging sloopykins, your daddy is looking for you hunni, he says you are not getting your allowance until you finish his massage, and he's excitedly anticipating the "happy ending", so hurry back to dear old dad, he needs ya hunni! ;o)
I believe this video was made in 1975. I've written Rick and hope he let's us know the name of the dancer.

So this is a pure playback business.

Ah, the powerful ability a young woman can have to drive men insane with desire. Just an accident? I don't think so.

@rwongusa Don't worry about your spelling as it's a Vibraphone the tubes underneath the keys give that a way also a Xylophone is made of wood !!
