  • I have the MLG Phantom (because they fit my skull hehe) They work pretty good for reducing eyestrain. Your eyes will get used to them.

  • I have a few of these... they are baddass for sure.

  • i have it

  • i play computer games alot and i see every thing perfectly both on the computer and real life and rarely my eyes hurt when i use the computer , so i bought these glasses just to keep my eyes safe and so i wore them played some bc2 and watched some videos then my eyes started to hurt alot! then i took a rest from using the computer for about 1hr then played again without using those glasses then after like 20min i put them on then my eyes started to hurt again..any idea on whats happening?

  • @doorOfSouls ...sorry dude...have no idea. Like a lot of things in life everybody reacts differently to, in this case, external stimuli. Perhaps you should contact Gunnar...the information I provided came straight from their website and brochure.

    I'm a dinosaur (49) ...maybe that's why I still wear mine...lol!

  • These seem like sick glasses but im looking for something more fit for in the field. Oakleys Flak Jacket seem to be the way to go as far as true shooting glasses but if your talking about shooting in a game gunnars r 4 u.

  • Whats the song called?

  • "Trade it All..." Pdiddy, Fabolous, etc...

  • These glasses work great both the pc for up close and the video game/home theater version. Thanks JT.

  • you're Welcome...

  • You can get these at buydotcom for cheap.

  • I'm sold, pickin up a pair this week. Thanks bro

  • You welcome...yeah I plan to buy another pair too...

  • so basicly when i use a computer i dont hurt my eyes ?

  • That and more...

    How GUNNARS Work

Digital Performance Eyewear enhances optical performance with GUNNAR'S patent-pending i-AMP™ lens technology, an optical platform that includes the following components:

    diAMIX™ lens material offers an optically pure viewing experience with ultra-light, ergonomic properties;

    iONik™ lens tint takes artificial light and precisely tunes it to the physiology of the eye;

  • i-Fi™ lens coatings capture good light from digital screens while filtering out glare and reflective light; and

fRACTYL™ lens geometry mimics nature to aid the natural focusing power of the corneal lens and creates a preferential ocular microclimate.

  • You should be on the payroll bruddah! I'm sold!! I'll be getting a pair next payday!

  • thanks...

  • im getting a pair

  • Outstanding...

  • These are cool looking glasses.

Just wondering what they mean by "viewing digital data". Is that like computer generated images (GUI components, animations) or just looking at computer displays in general, including pictures and videos...

  • Information in the side-bar, on their site, press releases, etc...

  • those are a nice pair of shades I got the TagHeuer Speedway special edition what do you think of those?

    great vid!

    grtz

  • hi i'm thinking about getting either the Gunnar Edge or the Bit Surfer but can't decide which one to get, have you tried the Surfer? I need some suggestions please to help me decide.

    Thanks

  • Yeah, I seen it on their site. It has a taller lens design. I prefer the Edge's narrower look.

I like a more Oriental, Japanese style as in most things. So I guess the bottom line is what appeals to you...

  • Are these the Gunnar Bit Surfer or Edge?

And how much did they cost?

  • Catalyst collection...Edge...regular $139.00.

I got it for $119.00 w/2nd day air it came out to $140.00...

  • Those are bad ass glasses.

  • 10-4...

  • You have a lot of disposable income.

  • "Living well is the best revenge..."

  • Cool, I'll have to check those out. Tactical, and we can all be fashion victims too. How great is that? Plus, it beats the fuck out of eating a bag of raw carrots every day. 5 for 5 as usual from JT, our brother in arms.

  • Nice shades J.T. Right now im looking for some quality sun glasses, what do you recommend? Thanks, Paul

  • Well, Paul...you can't go wrong with the Oakley line my current fav is the...FLAK JACKETS ...you can switch out the lenses from polarized, iridium, amber, clear, etc...

I'll be sporting these Gunnars for a while...thinking of ordering a 2nd pair too...

  • You must really like them if buying a second pair. I am ready to order the flak jackets but I cant decide on what lens I want.... Thanks J.T. Paul

  • Great vid as usual. If you get a chance check out my vids.Thanks.
