Hey what's up guys. I was curioust to know who's making the voice of my favorite character Sam Fisher. Normally I play it in French version and the guy who's translating it is the same who's translating Arnold Schwarzenegger in French. He's so awesome!
My friend is working for Ubisoft Montreal and he told me that Ubi has payed Michael Ironside 1 million$ just to make the voice of Sam Fisher in Splinter cell Conviction.
@Halixman sure but well he sounds the same in the version I have. But credits have something else and I can't find out who the hell is Daniel Beretta lol
He did a good job, Fisher is one of the most memorable game characters ever in my opinion. I also thought that the back and forths between Sam and Grim were one of the most enjoyable non interactive parts of the game and Sam's cynicism fit beautifully in with the gamestyle and storyline. It made Sam Fisher a believable character to me, like Daniel Craig as Bond, They aren't just suave terminators with guns, they are skilled, highly trained but believable humans.
I fucking hate how they encourage people to kill in this game rather than use stealth... it's easy as fuck, compared to any of the previous SC games.
It's like they sat down in a meeting one day and said to each other "how can we fuck up this great genre we created and appeal more to the retarded CoD no-brain players?"
I mean, who decided to ruin every single Ubisoft title I love and replace it with a phony . First prince of persia and now this one as well. >:(
@DavySigfusson Hells aye. I dl'ed the Conviction demo the other day; glad I didn't have to shell out any money just to find out that it was a complete bloody travesty. I still play Chaos Theory for shits & giggles, but Ubi's never seeing a penny from me for Conviction. Just... bad.
They really fucked up his face after the first game. He looks like a monkey, with guido eyebrows.
