wow ,who was this.this guy can go . i'm glad rapper or whatever he was, was'nt heard, because he would have screwed it up. i can't stand rapp crap music. thanks for posting this great bassit.
Definately better than Behringer. Today at my school I played on my schools HArtke VX2-something. Tone was absolutely godly, and completely held my own playng on a volume of whileone guitarist played on a 5 on his amp and the other played on maybe 6 or 7 on his Ibanez halfstack.
Well i personaly have to agree and disagree...I am totally disapointed with new Hartke editions that they are making them in the east! Old harte rocks!
But as for behringer goes, there was one combo that i was absolutely happy with. Alu membranes and sweet punchy/through the roof sound. I loved it! Just don't buy Behringer heads...big dissapointment
Maybe there are some contact problems with the cable, you may check it (twisting the cable, pluging it in again etc), if that doesnt fix it check the DC feed cable, and if neither works, take it to the shop back, and ask about it.
He's using a Squier Standard Series Jazz Bass (Color Walnut Satni). To answer r0beritos question: yes, he uses a loop pedal (BOSS RC-20, and DIGITECH JAMMAN - these are the most popular loop pedals i know about...). I don't know about the amps, nut i think he used one of a HARTKE, because there are only HARTKE amps in the area =))) The vid is giving back a lot of sound, but i wish i could have listen to this one at live... Very impressing, as July always does... A great vid!!! =)
I don't really think there is such a thing as "underpowering"...but hey.
I bought the set up to let me gig and record, and that is exactly what it lets me do. When i have a bit more money ill get a nicer head to match the wattage.
Oh I wasnt bashing your setup or anything, just sometimes when you put less than half the wattage it can handle on an amp it sometimes wont push through like it could.
Either way definately a kickass rig, Im a huge hartke fan

u have got to be kidding me, hartke is almost just as bad as beringher.
if u want quality stuff u gatta pay the price.
got gk 1001-rb top and a glockenklang quattro-8 410 box.
ftgamble 4 years ago
That's a very incorrect generalisation...
only the entry level stuff is not that good, but even then at least it works a second time, not like behringer.
I think you'll find most of the higher end hartke stuff is actually quite good.
