I disagree about the beatchange being a bad thing, but I do see where your coming from - the slow bit is much longer on the album version.

I'd also say there are many ways that a beatchange can screw up a song (Babylon Zoo, anyone?) This one is OK though, as at least it's only a minor, quite elegant, shift.
