i'm listening to this for the first time since the early 80's. those first notes bring back 30+ years. i had these songs before i had the love stories that were to follow. what a delicate enchanted voice....
I have love this woman since the early 80's on an album and then i got her replaced on a CD. Now i get to see her on YOU Tube... Can life get any better? She continue to grow in her music as I get older and stays young and just as refreshing as the day I heard of her in my early 20's, Now tell me, can life get any better than this?
I have loved her since the 70's but then she dropped out of sight while she took care of her sick husband. I couldn't find out anything about her since then. That of course was many many years ago. During that time I wore out the casette tape I had of hers. I wish she would come to Sudbury Ontario Canada some time and do a concert.
When the Stay The Night album first came out (which this off) I played the bottom out of it. The lady was a real talent, different genre, but like Ashley Cleveland - just a true untapped talent.
I wouldn't say exactly "untapped"--she was signed to Columbia, recorded with Johnny Mathis. That's pretty far up the ladder as far as professional pop singing goes.
Jane Olivor has one of the most beautiful voice. I was playing a Jane Olivor song and my brother and his girlfriend were like who is that it is great.
A unique talent. She sets a mood that touches me deeply.

Jane Olivor is not Linda Cohen. They had a different birthdate.

This reminds me of an ex-boyfriend. I can't learn to forget him. Beautiful, but sad, song..
