  • goin under, rats in the cellar!!! sorry wrong song

  • Damn, really like the chorus. Best song on this record.

  • whether most "true" STP fans admit it or not, Scott took alot from Velvet Revolver. Personally, I love it

  • THis is much better than hazy days. I really like that riff. That jungle repetitive riff. It kinda reminds me of four sticks by LED ZEP. I like the chorus alot aswell. The Lyrics leave more to be desired, hey but that doesn't take away from the positives of this tune. Really Digging it.

  • I was ready to put this song down because of how it started but I didnt want to develop the same minds as these attention deficit fools. It never is how you start its how you finish and this song and album is one of the best albums I have heard in years.

  • runin' fast to the liquor stooore

  • best guitar solo on the album. showing some southern hospitality!:)

  • Shriley Temple's Pussy

if you understand the referance, you are a true STP fan :P

new sound to STp they should put out an album from the MJY days and the name should be, well...Mighty Joe Young! with songs like, Spanish Fly, Scary Area, and Only Dying

  • @NnysVelvetRevolver lol. shut up

  • @wellisaythat suck my 500million dollar cock

    :)

  • @NnysVelvetRevolver the song only dying was the original song to be put on The Crow soundtrack, but due to the unfortunate event that had happened they went with big empty

  • @mushway101

i am fully aware of that fact. That was also on their MJY demo album also.

  • SO DATED

  • @orezmusic Go listen to Rebecca Black, have a Coke and a smile, and fuck off.

  • I only love STONE TEMPLE PILOTS when their songs are fast or has a good upbeat rhythm :) Personally, this song: FAST AS I CAN , really rocks and has a true 1970s up tempo classic rock sound, very similar to Aerosmith, Kiss and The Doors. Its almost like L.A woman .

I love it :) but YES, i have heard some other songs I really like on this new STP album, including: Bagman, Take A Load Off, and Cinnamon . They just need to rock out more

  • THIS IS THE ONLY GOOD SONG ON THE ENTIRE PEACE SIGN ALBUM :)

  • @jetsonic69 dude every song's AMAZING you must give them a chance.

  • @jetsonic69

dude, not even close to true

    each one id GREAT

  • @jetsonic69 sucks to be you then bub

  • As far as older bands putting out new albums go, this is right up there, and this is my favourite track

  • 2 people don't like this thats fucking funny lol

  • Fuck Yeah real music!!! Refreshing Boom Bang POW!!!! Fucker's !!!!!!

  • this song must amazing live!!

  • i love the stone temple pilots but i have to agree with what some people have said that this album has a bunch of songs that sound like they were "inspired" by nirvana. if you pay close attention to this song, there are parts throughout, including the chorus that sound like nirvana's "territorial pissings" . the melodies are just changed a little.

  • @39user274502

Seriously dude shut up, stp doesn't need that.

  • @39user274502 well ya but if you listen to the other songs there influenced by a lot of other great bands, much like most of there music

  • @39user274502 well ya but if you listen to the other songs there influenced by a lot of other great bands, much like most of there music

  • hahahah, some dude talkjjn shet, whats new? hahahha.

  • im a songwriter myself. this is gold for sure. epic.

  • scoott rocks

  • Axl Rose wishes he still was around! Scott Weiland Is an All-Star Rock Legend and God!!!!

  • Cool song, riff sounds like "toys in the Attic" by aerosmith.

  • Scott made a wise decision to leave VR and what a remarkable comeback with STP.Totally awesome album &worthy to buy...

  • este tema refleja mas de lo viejo que siempre me gusto de STP

  • has a Cheap Trick feel to it

  • scott sold out of velvet revolver to reunite with STP. Duh. Imagine how much money they dangled in front of his face. His shallowness comes out in the shallow lyrics and poppiness made to cater to teenage girls instead of the rockers who like core and purple. the record company made this for all those twilight fans. It's a huge market. the greedy tactics of the major record labels are not hidden.

  • @MrJehosefat ya you defintely a fag ya totally

  • @jjc19461 How would you like me to respond? maybe " I am rubber you are glue..." or "I know you are but what am I?" hmm. If you saw the interview with Matt Sorum you would know I'm not just making that up and trolling.

  • @MrJehosefat trollfag is so troll gosh.

  • @jjc19461 anyone who gives you a thumbs up is a fag....

  • @jjc19461 I like how the highest rated comment on this page is a put-down calling someone a fag. This new album is totally vacuous and equally unnecessary. You are all idiots for listening to old farts that want to make a few more bucks before retiring. By the way, Scott is retarded. I just wanted to say that.

  • @fireplug111 ya bro you also defintely a fag ya totally too.

  • @jjc19461 hehe....dude, you gave me my morning laugh. Thank you. Totally! . ha!

  • @fireplug111

WTF are you smoking you idiot? This album kicks ass! Blows away anything this year to date.... Shannon the dude had this one right on the money! I think you are really Axl Rose hanging out in your mothers basement trying to get back at Scott for dropping two albums with your ex band mates and completely eclipsing every song you ever wrote... If I where you I would suck down the end of a deer riffle! Just saying....

  • @MrSTPFAN1 Look dude, my point is that the highest rated comment on this video is a guy calling someone else a fag. That's the end of the story. Period. And its just no matter if I live with my mom or I'm axl rose or I'm sucking my mom's dick in the basement with axl rose or my mom wears axl rose's combat boots and I just can't afford a bullet for my deer rifle to shoot myself with. I'm really unimpressed. And I'm gay.

  • @fireplug111 hahaha

    ohohoho

    bahaha

    teeheehee

  • @fireplug111 In one word I can sum up your attempt to bash STP........"FAIL!" No wait, I think I'll elaborate. Why don't you go fondle yourself to the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana... I think they're more your speed! This is the best rock album of 2010, hands down.

  • @ShannonTheDude Wow. You're hilarious. Jonas Brothers? Hannah Montana? Fondle myself? How could I possibly recover from put-downs like that? Guess I'll have to limp my tired and gay ass back to the Justin Bieber show because I've caught Bieber fever and I'm riding his high tide. Because I'm gay like that.

  • @fireplug111 you just have an opinion that no one gives a shit about, and you could've avoided that whole thing if you'd just kept your opinion to yourself

  • @MrJehosefat Dude what the fuck are you talking about? Are you listening to the same album I am? The bass lines and chord progressions are a million times more complicated than music directed towards teenage girls. Second, the only thing Scott did was write the lyrics. The Deleo brothers wrote all the music. Even if STP started their own record company you would have got the same album, some of the songs were even sitting around since 1996. Get a clue before you post conspiracy theories.

  • @TheFreshness11 it's not complicated at all... just sayin. lol... But I agree with most of what u said.

  • @MrJehosefat of course he sold out take a load off and between the lines are the only songs on the alubme i think sound anything like STP

  • @DegeneratePhobia he didnt sell out... i know that no one on here has probably listened to the eminem albums relapse and recovery...but they are two completely different albums, in writing style. So i have alot of confidence for the next album...although i think this albums writing is gold!

  • @MrJehosefat Umm.... Sorry dude... No one REALLY cared about Velvet Revolver... just another supergroup. Ya they were good but when u have all those hot shots together things just aren't as fun as when u are with the people who made u big... Just assuming big egos work the same way as they do in high school and college.

  • @MrJehosefat

So apparently you never heard of mighty joe young..... because this sounds more like stp than any other album since they have been signed. This is an extremely solid rock album!

The only thing Scott sold out is every seat at every show!

What was your last album? Since you are such the critic I am sure that your last album was kick ass... what was it called again? Oh yeah... shut up!

You're only humiliating by commenting on things things that you obviously know nothing about!

  • The album is OK.

My problem is that there aren't any Naked Sunday/Silvergun Superman/Sex or Violence 'hair on the chest' type songs on this collection....and that's disappointing...

Nevertheless, the fucking Pilots are back and this guy is happy!

  • @fanbraves It'd be nice to hear some megaphone action again..! This song has me pumped though.. It has the same kind of 'kick' as there older ones, just in a newer way.

  • @WesMott1994 Hell yeah I was thinking the same thing we need some megaphone lol.

  • @fanbraves but take a load off has a purple feel.

  • I'm not digging this new album much...it's ok at best

  • so i guess scott is really going tosave rock n roll like he said great album who needs slash but look for scott to make a new album for them

  • I thought this was on tiny music. ;) GREAT TRACK.

  • i have always concidered STP to write Rock songs with a wicked groove to them. You know Scott has to move around like a snake on stage.

  • This song sounds like it belongs on Tiny Music, which is a good thing.

  • After hearing Army of Anyone and Velvet Revolver, I wasn't holding out much hope for this new STP record. But I have been absolutely blown away. Every track on this thing is A+ in its own way. The creative juices are still flowing through these guys, thank God. Keeping real rock'n'roll alive!

  • @termsofusepolice i agree, i think this is a return to form for them.

  • @termsofusepolice velvet revolver had some pretty solid songs

  • @termsofusepolice VR's first album was great, and AOA were pretty good... but yer this album is goood, its just missing some grunge CCRUNCCH!!!

  • @it3659 Good call.

  • @termsofusepolice Right On!!!! Velvet Was only so good cause it was Epic on paper nothing more this is balls out Hard Rock!!!!!

  • geez what happened to stp, oh wait they sold out just like green day

  • @CKing180 WTF?? Green Day sold out from day one of their major label debut. If anything, STP sounds less commercial on this record than they did in their early days. I can't even listen to stuff like Interstate Love Song. I guarantee you that a track like this is NEVER going top 10 in today's pop music market.

  • 'Take a load off' is hard in an old STP sense as well.

  • This one and hazy daze are amazing! love em thesame my top 2~

  • I miss Core/Purple =/ I doubt they will ever go back to their grunge roots. Every album is different with them. I like this song and hazy daze off the new album.

  • @devax1986 Thats why I lov STP/Weiland, every album is different

  • thanks for posting all these, cant afford the album till saturday
