Racing or no racing, this horse is so pretty.....or should I say, handsome!! I usually like horses that are a rich bay colour, but his colour is so unusual and his built is magnificent. Even though you never showed us the full extent of your talent at the racetrack, I hope that you will have a happy and long life at the farm!! Hope I can visit you one day, feed you some carrot treats and rub your nose. Take care !! xoxo
I don't understand, he was supposed to be out about a year from that lesion or whatever, I figured he'd be at a farm somewhere. Has he always been at the track instead, or did he just ship in? He's not wearing any kind of supportive bandage, has he healed faster than they anticipated? Will Alex and his son be able to start him back soon? Strub series, perhaps?
He was at a local farm for a while, from what I've been able to find out. He still needs time to complete the healing, which is why they are considering sending him up to the snow. I don't believe we'll see him back in training until 2010. Will keep you posted as much as I can!
