Dear Brian, thanks for the interest. The two line, bouncing harmonics solo in "See What A Love Can Do" is fairly complex. I'll keep it in mind for an intermediate guitar lesson down the road. all the best - Nils
You rock Nils. Remember seeing you at the New Yorker in Toronto about 1977 and a few times since. Classy of you to help out the up and comers. Listen to this guy kids!
Used to wear a button about every day with Nils's picture on it in high school (1974-1976). Seen him many times. Few fans as big as I. :-) Long live the Birchmere!
Brill - lots of people waiting for this Nils! Love the laid-back style, it'll have a good take-up I would imagine. Must remember to count how many fingers I have again tho....
I got your "Keith Don't Go" acoustic lesson on your website for few bucks. It Was very very well explained and great. Still a little hard for me (the harmonics are crazy !!! Ah, ah, ah...), but I really progressed thanks to your lessons.
Cheers !! I will see you in June with the E Street Band. I hope you could do some of your songs with Bruce Springsteen. It would be so great. :)

the solo in "Youngstown" Live Hyde Park 2009) is just genius,
anyone know if there is a lesson for it or to play in that style, like for the scales
used and his picking technique with the thumbplec there, on the website? im not a beginner but nils's playinstyle is just stunning. :)

Can you show how you did the double lead in Son, I Think You're Lost, Boy, See What Love Can Do, the best guitar work of that era.
Which was also the best emo song of any decade.

Met him back in the early 70's in a bar on M Street in DC. Still a human being. Roy Buchanan was too. Same venue. DC! I think that I will sign up.
