  • Reporter: "What about another word?"

George: "There aren't any more words!"

LMFAO hahaha, you tell those fucking reporters George, you tell them

  • I am really glad they stopped performing in 66. It makes sense what Paul says: They can't hear themselves, the crowd can't hear them cause they never stopped screaming all the fucking time, so how in God's earth are they supposed to get better if they continue to play with broken ears?

  • They were recording Strawberry Fields/Penny Lane and early work for Sgt Pepper at exactly this time..

  • Woah, Paul, nice mustache! (: (And George, I like your glasses.)

  • Wasn't this '67?

  • @CodysFilmAddiction Late '66, I think.

  • I can't help but notice how up-beat they seem here. They certainly knew the up-and-coming Sgt. Pepper album was going to be special.

  • Anyone know where you can buy the type of clothes John is wearing in this (the jumper/sweater)?

  • It's amazing how in the comments section of practically every Beatles video on YouTube there's this nonsense about Faul, Paul McCartney didn't die, anyone who believes this myth is divorced from reality.

  • Paul didn't die. He's still alive. He isn't any different here. They decided to stop touring before Paul's supposed death which didn't happen by the way.

  • How about this, The Beatles aren't a boy band. THEY'RE THE MUTHA FREAKING BEATLES!

  • my mistake this isnt decmeber 1967 it is december 1966.

  • bigfanjimcarrey23 you should fix this.it is not december 1968 it is december 1967.

  • Haha, George: "There aren't anymore words!"

  • Yeah man.

  • george es el inicio de las superestrellas noventeras inglesas tipo oasis, con ese look y ese porte ademas de su estilo acido y sin poses. george es el mejor .

  • If this was Dec 1968, John woulda had much longer hair. haha

  • George harrison, what a cool sonOfabitch.

  • tells an incredible story of what was going on with them at the time.

Paul and John had this naive optimism

George was seriously frustrated and Ringo was just along for the ride and just hoping not to fall off.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah... Now I am 100% sure that Paul is alive and well.

  • This is 1966 of December, sir.

  • Dec. 1966

  • are you sure this is 1968...looks like they had sgt peppers moustaches

  • @JonnyYang123 They were growing their Sgt Pepper mustaches..Paul grew his first, then John, George, and Ringo. ironically Ringo was the last to grow his(as you can see in this interview, it just started growing).

  • @JonnyYang123 this was Dec, 1966! they were probably working on the Sgt. Pepper album. Strawberry Fields Forever, Penny Lane, and When I'm 64. Those were the first 3 they worked on, then put Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane on a single.

  • It is funny that the interviewer asks George that. Most people know about George's temporary leaving during the "Get Back" sessions but little do people know that when the band stopped touring he wanted to quit then to seek other opportunities. i think what stopped him in 66' was the fact that the band wanted to focus on recording which he was fine with. But alas, as he said himself, his heart was in India at that time

  • George is a star.. lol he came and went like a real superstar!!

  • Brilliant, December 20th 1966!

  • As many on here have concurred, this is December 1966, unequivocal, with the band talking about their recent activities and press speculation of them splitting up due to them not having performed live since August and whether they were going to again. In Dec 68 they looked nothing like this ; John had shoulder length hair and was with Yoko mostly

  • Dec1966

But more importantly - what album is under John's arm? Weird cover, almost looks like The Move's Message From The Country... but it isn't....

  • This is CLEARLY 1966. They were recording Stawberry Fields, Penny Lane and When I'm 64 these days... Sgt Pepper was on growing in the studio, and (The) Pink Floyd was about to start recording their first LP "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" on that very studio just at the same time... such a great time for the music!

  • All those who said this is from 66 are correct. Indeed this is apparently the first time they all had moustaches at the same time and working on the Pepper album. This was the debut of their mature look with facial hair.

  • hahah george is a little defiant.

    2:30

Press: can i have a brief word with you? i just wanna ask you, that in the new year are you gonna be going in your own ways instead of being...

    George: NO! no.

    Press: no?

    George: no, definatly not

    Press: wat about another word?

George (walks away and out of sight but hear him call out): there are no more words

  • @beatlepaulandjenn79 Yep. It's pretty clear that being a famous person was far from what George ever wanted. I really get the impression that the trauma all of that caused for him was one of the reasons he ended up turning to spirituality so much.

  • There is NO doubt that this is the evening of December 20th 1966, each of the Beatles arrived separately for the group's scheduled recording session. Each was interviewed by ITN-TV just outside of EMI's Abbey Road Studios. This is the first incidence of John with his new look of wire rim specs and a Fu Manchu mustache.

  • There's confusion over the date of this. It was December 20, 1966, and for a UK TV show called 'Reporting '66.'

  • If this was 1966...They would have been working on The Magical Mystery Tour. The movie & album both came out in 1967, The Sargent Peppers followed the next year when they was working on it!)

  • @Godzie1 I always see you on every freaking interview claiming Paul's death...I can't watch a single video of Paulie speaking without your stupid theories ruining it. If Paul had "died" in November of '66, I don't think they could've replaced him in less than a month...lol. How do you believe this stuff?

  • @itsbridgetlogann I knew it back in the 60s when it all happened when a new & different looking "Paul" appeared. 40 years later? Paul is Dead movie confirmed my thoughts I felt back then!

(stranger things have happened in life)

It's called having a good insight and it's pretty accurate!

  • @Godzie1 Okay, I totally believe you now. Not. How does this Paul look different? Tell me that.

  • @itsbridgetlogann Jawline is longer & the chin protrudes much more then the old Paul. Watch the movie Hard days night & really look at that Paul then look at anything after 1966 Paul & tell me thats the same guy. No way! I had a childhood crush on Paul then in M.M.T in 67 What happened to him? I watched that American Bandstand Paul look alike contest as a kid & remember no winner was mentioned...Strange is that not?

  • @Godzie1 Hmm...the man in this video seems an awwwwful lot like Paul... I am having trouble believing that myth when this video exists.

  • @itsbridgetlogann

Some people believe & some don't (that's life) I seen the difference all these years & no one can change my mind.

Beatles tried to tell us, Joel Gilbert tried w/the Last testamony of George Harrison.

Everyone thinks it's a hoax to gain publicity that the Beatles never needed in the first place being the #1 group w/record sales up the ass. The truth will come out when the poser's dead!

  • @Godzie1 I wonder how idiodic you will feel when you figure out it's been a rumor all this time...xD

  • @Godzie1 And I think that the Beatles did it because the rumor was amusing to them, so they went along with it as a joke because they could do whatever they wanted. Not for publicity...just to mess with people..

  • @itsbridgetlogann Your theory might be highly unlikely but it's your opinion. I doubt that was the reason for it! Fab 4 had better things to do then mess w/peoples minds.

  • @Godzie1 Fail, The Last Testament of George Harrison is the biggest hunk of shit on Earth, someone was just looking to make a quick n easy dollar, but failed.

  • THIS WAS FILMED IN EITHER NOVEMBER OR DECEMBER OF 1966....not 1968.

  • Ringo was so excited to do an interview haha

  • december woops i mean look at ringo his hair had grown longer in 1968 compared to this look at the pic in the white album

  • I believe this was in December 1967 not 1966. After November 1966 the Beatles dropped out of the public's eyes for a long time & made no public interviews.

  • My mistake this was December 1968 (During Sargent Pepper release) When they had mustaches. A little more then a year before the final breakup.

  • @Godzie1 this interview was in November of 66 they WERE recording penny lane strawberry fields the entire pepper album and all that, but ik this is in 66 because the guy said so is there a possibility that the beatles might tour in 67 or something like that.

  • @scarface12347 Sorry scarface...(Al Pacino?) But this is no way 1966. I could tell just by looking at Paul (aka William Campbell) I grew up watching these guys & in 66 did not look like this. John's hair got long in 1969. You can see it on the Let it be roof top concert.

  • Comment removed

  • @Godzie1 Nope, Scarface is right. This was filmed December 20, 1966. That's been documented. Why would you doubt it? The way they look in this clip perfectly matches their late 1966 into early 1967 look...which was the only time all four of them had mustaches, as they do here, and do in the promos for 'Penny Lane,' 'Strawberry Fields Forever' and 'A Day In The Life,' all of which were filmed mere weeks after this clip and have them with the same hairstyles.

  • @RSG2006 I stand corrected...This new Paul switch confused me. They did it faster then I thought! :P

  • @Godzie1

that looks alot like the real paul he wasnt replaced

  • I hate to say this but I can't think of any boy bands that sing now that are nearly as good as The Beatles and that includes The Jonas Brothers.lol

  • @jimcarreyonline Yeah I agree cotton LONG LIVE THE BEATLES :-)

  • @BigFanJimCarrey23 geesh over one year later and people are still getting mad cause I called them a boy band.lol I didn't mean it as anything bad I just meant they were a band of boys. How are you Alex?

  • @jimcarreyonline yes in the years of 1963-1966 that was there time when the "Girls" would go crazy. a year after this interview they would go on to create the most influential album!

  • @jimcarreyonline what's a boy band?

  • @jimcarreyonline they arent a boy band. i mean yes they are a band with boys but i consider bands like the backstreet boys or nsync as boy bands. the beatles are one of the most talented musicians ever. best band ever.

  • @parasiticlittletick you can't call backstreet boys or nsync boy bands because they cant play instruments.to be a band you have to be able to play music.and those 2 groups couldnt.so they werent a band.better to call them a boy dancing group or singing group.either way they both suck and shouldnt even be mentioned with rebels like the beatles.

  • @jimcarreyonline The Beatles were not a boy band! They were a rock band!

  • @jimcarreyonline the jonas brothers suck dick!!

  • @jimcarreyonline The Beatles are no boy band fool!

  • @MrRocked123 LOL alright GIRL BAND. Is that better? :P

  • @jimcarreyonline yeah thats much better :) well it would be if you were in a band :D

  • ha george just walked off after one question XD
