Yeah that's your problem. You need to probably get Winzip to unzip your files. You can most likely find a free download somewhere online. If you ever download a custom sim item and it doesn't seem to work, always try to visit that site's FAQ page. There they can help with common problems. It always helped me cause I use to have the same problem long ago.

When filming footage, I find it helpful to press the tab key. This option gets you more movement with your camera and you can work the angle towards the sky.

In the game there is an option where you can film your sims. Those clips that you capture are then saved automatically to your computer. You just have to find them and use a program like Windows Movie Maker to complete a video.

when u have downloaded stuff you have to go into EA games- Sims 2 and inside sims 2 theres a folder that says downloads if u put the things u downloaded there the next time u play you'll have it inside the game. Hope it helped ;)

Actually once you download the file offline all you need to do is double click on that file to install it into your game. Once it does that the items should pop up in the game.

Ok, you have to first get music, import to the movie's you filmed, and put it into the time lines. You can control the effects, and speed. you could aslo do "Subtitles" or any other stuff you need. and to publish it go to your videos and click on publish.
