Hi! I just wanted to let you know that you were the FIRST tutorial I watched on youtube!! Thats how I got into polymer clay!! :D Thanks so much! U inspired me to make my own craft tuts! ^-^
wow you are the best like mine came out exacltly like yours but of course yours is a little better but can yow me people figures buecuse ive been wanting to know how to make forest gump....but anyways you are awsome :o)
Hiya! I love your videos! i've learnt a lot from you, so have to say thankyou!
just wondering though, what's your preference as far as clay goes? fimo or sculpey? i've been using sculpey III ,but read alot of negative feedback. What do you suggest? i'd like something which is soft and easy to mould, yet is durable once baked. So which clay would you recommend?
@Craftyperson126 It's a bummer... but go easy on your sis. Someday something like this will happen to her, and she will use your example of how to react. Try using a tiny bit more clay to attach them and use a hair dryer to heat just the ears. It's also a good idea to use triple thick or a glaze to make them stronger.
you do such cute things thanks for showing us how, I am thinking about trying this, seen some real cute cinderella carriage photo holders i want to try, do you bake it with the wire in? or glue it later? could you add magnets? Thanks
These little teapots are so adorable. Thx for this tutorial. I know someone who is a total Disney addict and I can make her these unique teapots as a gift. Again, many thx Angela
ILOVE YOUR TUTORIALS!!!!! thnx a lot for sharing, i actually work with cold prorcelain cause in mexico is not tht easy to find fimo and gotta say its rather expensive (pesos vs dollars LOL) and there are some stuff i simply cant make with it but still ive learn lots of things thnx to you. actually im making it into a little extra money lol Thank you so much again!
hey, where do i get the oval cutter? i can't find cutters that are that small. can i get them in supermarkets where they sell cooking utensils?coz i dun live in the states its not convenient to find things here where i live
when you make your sculpey stuff, do you set aside to harden so you come back and work on it. Because even with a stiff brush I can't get the fingerprints out, am I pressing too hard?
You need to be working with it and have the clay warmed up to brush the fingerprints out. Don't let it sit and get cold or it will be too hard to brush them away. Fingerprints can really be a pain in these dark, solid colors.
Thank you so much! I got the idea to help others from the young piano teacher here on youtube, Lyper is his name. He offers free piano lessons to all.
I had never made anything from Polymer clay before (actually, I didn't make anything from clay since High School ;-) )
I loved doing it and they turned out fantastically well for a first go (specifically because I was so eager to try it out I was at my friend's house away from my pasta machine)
Tomorrow I'll try kiwis and I'm going to see if I can make hollow pumpkins with LED's in them for Halloween!
That's wonderful! I tried making a hollow pumpkin and did it. Roll out your pumpkin clay and put it around a large glass marble. Cut the bottom off of the clay. Use a blow dryer to cure the clay, then pop out the marble. I pushed it through a tiny hole in the top. Then use a razor blade to make eyes. The bottom is open but you could close it with more clay and then re-cure it.
I was thinking about using a similar technique to your (I was watching all of your videos like an addict ;-) ) bell pepper trick with the aluminum foil. I'll try the marble if I can find one :-)
I'm having so much fun thinking about the unlimited possibilities! A friend has already asked me to make him some fruit for a stall that he wants to set up for his miniature train city :-)
Your tutorials made it so easy I feel like half a pro already
How do you get approved for the ads? What are the qualifications? What do you get out of the deal besides the ability to make longer videos? Educate me:) Please:)
