Julie had more soul, and made it seem she actually was going through the pain. Trace is a great singer, but the way he sings this song, it just makes it sound like he did a cover. If that makes sense to anyone lol.

Every light in the house must have been BLOWN when he sang this. Julie Roberts much better. Trace should stay with mens songs fitted for his voice. He really struggled to carry notes and he can not reach high notes either, his voice cracks. Could be because he smokes.

maybe one reason that so many make this error is because roberts's version blow adkins away

Not quite as well-sung as it was by Julie Roberts, but maybe it's just too soon to have a cover. This was a hit for her, after all; and Trace's voice doesn't have her range. A fair effort, though. Thanks for posting.
