Would be a bit long to go into details here but you can proceed that way. First, make some basic loops out of the vast collection of samples provided free with any Mac computer. Also, find on the web free good soundfonts. Then, if you are enough familiar with Bossa Nova rhythms, slice (cut) and reassemble these basic loops to make new variations, and built your drum track following the song accents. Not forgetting to respect the dynamic changes.

It's not really a drum machine ( it might sound like it is...) It's a sample based drum track made on MacBook.
