In my youth I was (and still am, to a point) a rabid dye-in-the-wool styx fan, I have all their albums (including the 4 Wooden Nickel albums) up thru...Kilroy.I saw them in concert 2 or 3 times, and have seen them 2 or 3 more times as an adult.

to be clear if they make a song that comes out bad or you dont like its no insult. they are not nofx or bouncing souls, this is a cover band thats all they do. if they did one cover like bif naked or collective souls or whoever then you can say "bad cover" if you want but this is a band that gets together and does only covers so really its not an insult its just their thing.

all the gimmie gimmies have been doing for years are cover tunes. they are good to listen to and I have old tapes that I throw on when I take long drives. of course im 40 and remember all the originals as better but this stuff is up beat and keeps you in a good mood.
