i dont understand why you think he is texting. How could you possibly know from looking at this video? Police officers have a computer on board, he may have been youing that. Im not saying its okay to do either one while driving but acusing a officer of texting with out any sort of proof is not alright.
any cop breaking the law goes home wit no pay, and no job for tomorrow..either be part of the solution or screw you if your the problem..no cop special treatment..they need to be held to a higher level..and if they cant be trusted..Bye Bye blue boy
we need a citizen force keeping these guys in check..because our systems as they are, Are not doing it..and these cops get away with righs violations way too often
we need a citizen orce keeping these guys in check..because our systems as they are, Are not doing it..and these cops get away with righs violations way too often
I don understand why do people discriminate the very people that protects them? You really did go all out just to get a silly video of him? N unfortunately, u manage to show how an inconsiderate driver u r too, in this video...
I can make this simple. If that cop was paying attention, this guy wouldn't have to 'stalk' the police officer. He would have noticed him following him too closely, and would have seen the camera. This just goes to show, that there needs to be monitors in the police vehicle themeselves where anyone anywhere or at least the sheriff can have access to monitor who is working for him, like this moron(the cop), who would have caused so many accidents. Not all cops are like this, but he is.
Just to make things clear, I was not following too closely, 2 sec's behind. The camera has a "zoom", second two vehicles going in the same direction on a one way road doesn't constitute "stalking". I got off at my exit, if I passed it I might give ya the "stalking" part, but I didn't. Ma. State Police was aware I was filming and even asked me to file a complaint. I did not file one, just maling a point, not killing a career. He is def. the exception, but a dangerous one.
@osphoto So you accuse this cop of "Texting while driving." Do youhave any proof, or are you just "Closing your eyes and using the force?" No evidence of a text. You are swerving as much as him. Why, were you texting? sleeping, molesting a child? I have no evidence but I guess you dont need any huh. You sound like one of those guys that enjoy making false complaints on police.
Thanks for "getting" the point. This was done safely. I even pulled along side him to get his attention. I could'nt because he was too busy looking down at his phone. Again, he is the exception, but if he killed a loved one of ours would it still be acceptable?? It only takes one "exception" to disgrace a dept. Thanks again Ckloudeyes, while you may not be defending me, at least you got the point.
Just for the record videos do not always record all pertinant information to make foolish comments as you did. For you to comment on someone being a moron without knowing a person...cop or not is simply ignorant!
so you must be ignorant also when replying and telling me I'm ignorant. Now who's the ignorant one. Yes, I should not say Moron. I am going to say swerving cop on the road who should pay attention while driving. that is what I shall call him. Thanks for having me clear the point. :)
How close am I? I think its time for you to hang up your camera and I think you should turn yourself into the nearest MA State Police Barracks. Take your hit for Reckless Driving and Following to closely. Both of these charges are serious crimes. Driving is a privilege and it is not a right. Just remember that.
(Part 5) Asshole: I know what Ill do. I will post my loser video on YouTube and I will be a hero to all the other mutants. Maybe the other mutants will praise me like a mutant god.
Asshole: Maybe the king Mutant will invite me to a mutant meeting so I can have some friends.
NBC30: What dont you get a life loser and why dont you stop harassing other police officer on the highway. That is called stalking and you can be arrested for that.
NBC30: Okay sir what do you have? A fireman making a daring rescue? An EMS personnel reviving someone or even a police officer making an arrest of a bank robber?
Asshole: Ahhhhh No. Its better. I am following a police officer in his police cruiser and he is using his cell phone.
(Part 1) What kind of Jackass are you? What kind of want-to-be loser carries a video camera on their lap and waits for something to happen? Dont you have better things to do then to harass a police officer when he is driving? Oh, I know, you want to be famous. Let me guess. You want to be on NBC news. Maybe it happened like this. Your pathetic ass called NBC30 and they would not take you seriously. Maybe it happened like this:
3 things; 1. Get a life! Following anyone for 8min makes you a loser and a weirdo. 2. You should be arrested for stalking and reckless driving, then sent for a psyche evaluation. 3. Heard you wanted to be a cop-good start, jackass. Any normal cop would never want to work with you. Your already a bad cop. And to the cop who left posts here; bet your peers love working with you (Not!). Who r u, Joe Friday- "Just the facts'ma'am"- Did the badge go to your head??
So Colonel Klink, 1) We were going in the same direction and it just happened to be eight minutes from thetimeI spoke to the state police and my exit. 2) It wasn't stalking, he would have hit me if I didn't react to his drifting into my lane, show me were I was driving recklessly, never crossed any lanes without a directional. 3) No where here does it say I want to be a cop. While I have and always will asst when possible. No "good" cop would condone his actions.
even though the officer was swerving in your spy video, I believe I seen many occasions where you not only sped up and got pretty close to him, but u were following him too close in general most of the time....and it wasn't b/c he was slowing down b/c u sped up many times to get right on this guys rear.....now doesn't common sense training say about 1 car length away for every 10 mph?? so maybe about 5-7 for you?? you looked about 1-3 at different times...do u normally drive foolish like that??
Also, did anyone notice, or maybe did you notice, how you drove in his blind spot a lot?? u know the part where it's difficult to see a car in your mirrors and the prick that does that on the roads always pisses me off?? Whether your a concerned citizen, a cop, or a PI....u still don't do stupid things like follow him so closely for 8 minutes and stay in his blind spot a lot....not acting safely, like u were doing, for the means of catching someone else not being safe is plain ignorant...thank u
Just to make things clear, I was not following too closely, 2 sec's behind is safe. Look it up. I was not in his blind spot. The camera phone has a "zoom". Only reason it was 8 min is that's how long it was since he first crossed into my lane and my exit. My speed only changed w/his to keep a safe dist. Ma. State Police was aware I was filming and even asked me to file a complaint. I did not file one, just making a point, not killing a career. He is def. the exception, but a dangerous one. Thnx
@andrewmarcus91 Good point to add, but hey, I guess since the whole world seems to text and drive, why not film and drive too, right?? Not to be mean, but I wish he'd film more...so this time as he is zooming in and driving, maybe we can see what it looks like "zoomed in" when he hits a car or goes off the road...lol
Your searching U Tube for these videos and you say "I" need a life, that's funny. You do not know the method of filming so don't judge, as I did not, the evidence speaks for it self. If that had been a civillian he would have been pulled over in a heart beat. If he had wrecked I would have been the first one in to help him. It's amazing that u can watch the video and stick up for him. I believe in looking the other way for our PD except when someone can get hurt, this was inexcusable.
He wasn't even from the same state, he was not code 3 and wouldn't have been texting for 40 miles. He made himself look bad. If this were you or me and an officer was behind us we would have been pulled over for failure to maintain lanes, and/or reckless driving. I appreciate the fact people immediately want to stick up for this kid but it is what it is. He has a higher obligation to uphoold the laws whatever state he is in. I'm sorry you missed the point. He could have hurt someone.
osphoto doesn't matter what state or code. What matter is that you had no idea what this officer was responding to. I would assume officers don't always need to respond code 3. If you want to help out i'm sure there are areas of your community that have some crime problems. Go into them areas and video tape some worth while crimes. Your efforts would be greatly appreciated by the criminals and the people in your community..
osphoto, maybe this officer was responding (w /his k-9) to assist another PD with a call, and was recieving information via his cell phone from an officer who might have been on scene from that PD. Again your somebody jumping to conclusions, and trying to make a cop look bad.. Nice job..
I hear ya buddy. Cops do have a lot of "other" things to do.... When responding to a call, detail, or chase IN AN EMERGENCY... This guy didn't even have his lights on.
Look, if he had been behind me instead of us looking behind him, I know that I would be getting a careless operation ticket, and a "walk the line" DUI test.
Yes, you are right. Taping was done with a phone in a hand on the steering wheel. Cop was texting on his phone, not on his lap top. After 20 years of assisiting PD's anyone knows this is wrong. He almost hit me and a tractor trailer. It was bad enough that SP has me filing a complaint with the RMV. He was looking down at his crotch to text, with a baseballl cap on. No chance of watching the road with even one eye. I have put my self in harms way for a PO and always will. He was wrong.
And maybe you are more worried about video taping than driving.
Officers have to do MANY things at one time.
They have to read, and type on their laptops, read info on a suspect, address, etc. they have to listen / talk on radio, and when running code, still have to be aleret 110%.
why you taping this in first place?
