on my connect that plugs into the fog light switch has 4 wires ,2 yellow ,1 blue and 1 orange...the yellow and orange are the ones that connect to wire that comes thru fire wall and connects to fuse box...so which ones do i cutt on mine? i only see three for yours where as mine ha for at the end to connect to button and three on the other end
Easy, either poke a hole through with existing wires. Or if there is unused hole with a grommet you can just poke a hole in it, Or you can buy Grommets with holes in them at Vatozone to do so. So its still somewhat weather proof.
@RblLuis Of the Wires that come through the firewall there should be one that connects to the same colored wire from the switch, and the spade connector wire coming from the switch should connect to the fuse box.
my fuse box and relay are inside my car right by the fuse box and my fog's dont work.. i think its the fuse but i bought new ones and they dont work.. help?
@JCDC5R I have and the fuze isnt giving power... Checked the relay and 3 wires give juice but 1 witch is the white wire that is too the fuse.. I bought brandnew fuse's thinking it was the fuse but its not. for some reason its getting no power too the fuse
so my switch shorted out and I am doing the toggle switch installation(awesome by the way) and I was wondering if you just unite both of the cables that come from the fuse box.??
hey also what Gage wire is the green wire you added on to put the wires on the toggle switch? also did you ground that black wire or no cuz you said you dont need it
hey so you said that you hook up that one wire i believe its yellow to the fuse box witch is labeled D....i found the slot but i have something already plugged into it. can i use any of the others?
Hey bro I need to know what size the hardware is to install these badboys! I.E the screws to screw the light to the bumper, and the screws for the faceplate. Can you help me?
Hi, wondering if you can help, I took off my bumper, cut the holes, screwed the lights in (difficult) then went to fit the bumper back on my car and it wouldn't fit! the back of the light doesn't give enouigh room as it touches the sub frame. any suggestions??

hay mate i have a problem with mine i got the same as yours off ebay the clear one's but i hook it all up and when i turned it on only the left fog light turns on and it is very dim and then the wires started to smoke could ya plz help me out cheer's
No It will be a tight fit. Try to align the top and slide the fogs under the bumper support and then push in the bottom. There may me alittle ear piece of a bracket on top you can cut off.
Yup. just the the side ones. But only enough for the lights to fit. DO NOT cut off the screw brackets. Thats where you screw in the Fog Light Brackets.
sounds like you got a short in your wiring. or a bad bulb, Mine shorted out for awhile, until i got new bulbs. eBay ones are cheap. take out your light, take off the bottom cover (NOT the lens) pull the little clip over that holds down the bulb. disconnect the connector drop in your new bulb and put it back together. They're H3 bulbs, if you want brighter lights the Sylvania Silverstars are actually worth spending the extra money for.
sometime the ebay switch is bad so its easier to use a toggle switch. red goes to the blue that comes from the lights. yellow needs the constant power. than u got black for ground.

a test light does really help u out. the ebay fog switch some times come bad so it works better using a toggle switch. that is what i did. the yellow from the switch needs power. so thats where ur test light comes in handy. but i put mines in the first slot thats open under ur dash ( the slot is above all ur fuses) u should see 4 open slots.
Take your Test Light and with the ignition off check the option connectors till your find one that comes on. Then recheck it after you turn the lights off. If it goes off when you turn your lights on/off. Thats the connector . Should be Option Connector D in this link > :autoforums.carjunky.com/upload/Civic1.jpg
Hope that helps you all, I'll try to remake a new video someday.
hey, for cutting bumper grill i just used a drywall saw (manual saw/non power). u can buy from walmart, home depot, dixieline.. ders a guide dat u can follow to cut the grill.
Hey I need hlep about the harness I dont get why U put it on the Fire Wall b/c I did that and it was block by a wall... I just need help to connect from outside to inside in the car and Where does the yellow Fuse Connector go
I have a built in button which is connected to the fuse box. Then I have the main harness which goes to the two fog lights. I don't know how to connect the main harness to the fuse box. Exactly where to plug in to make it work with the factory button...

So where exactly do you put that yellow cable that goes to the fuse? Like which part exactly. We have the same kit I just can't find that part.
ballr4evr125 2 months ago
@ballr4evr125 The lead from the fuse before the relay? Should be attached directly to a 12V Source best place is straight to the battery.
The lead coming from the Fog Switch goes into the Underdash Fuse Box. Read the description for the diagram.
