@MsCrazydriver NBC tried to restart the series back in 2008. It was doing OK at first, but NBC did what it does best and killed off a good show. This was back during the writer's strike and the Conan vs. Leno fiasco as well. They had a "second season" that started changing it for the better, but NBC did let it have a chance. There were petitions to get the show reinstated, but they didn't work.

"Aattack mode" of K.I.T.T. ... well ... Lets just say even the guys at "Pimp my ride" would be embaressed.
Another thing was,not only did they use a mustang,but they used a mustang that had already been out for a couple of years....They really should have used the new camaro,that would have been so much better!! At least in the original Knight Rider used the newest Trans Am off the assembly line!!
They got too ridiculous with the car,I loved the potential it had when the premier tv movie first came out for the new knight rider,but when it started coming on every week,they totally screwed it up!!! In the premier movie,the way the car morphed was believable with the whole "Nano-technology" and the attack mode was much better looking and,it only morphed into two other cars....in the actually episodes,it changes into submarine,to a F-250,then to an old mustang,to a conversion van!!! WTH!!!

I'm not a huge Knight Rider buff, but something tells me KITT 3000 and KARR 3000 as a team would win against the combined force of the Team Knight Rider cars, KITT 2000 and KARR 2000

Often times people are disappointed because they have such high expectations of a movie or a series or whatever type of media entertainment, everyone buys into what they see in a trailer which will always show you the best parts drenched in action & special effects if this is what sells you on what to like about something then you're always gonna be disappointed, high expectations will always be crushed so lower them & you might walk away satisfied & what happened to storyline & good acting ?
Hello people this was not a remake it was never intended to be the same as the K.I.T.T/2000 series it was the K.I.T.T/3000 series so it wasn't going to have all of the same features if any at all so if you expected that & were disappointed then that is no one's fault but your own. Had you let the show stand on its own merit then maybe you would've enjoyed it because it wasn't really that bad & after 17 episodes it wasn't given enough time to take off. Learn to lower your expectations people !
Yeah the new show just wasn't that good. It didn't have some of the things in the car that the old show did. I don't think the powers-that-be could think of anything good to do with the new Knight Rider show. I expected more from the new show not some chop job. The Mustang was nice though.
Love It! I bought myself a black probe as a runaround as they are quite cheap to buy, lots of car for your money, even if they are old and one of the previous owners with an old V5 was Michael Knight! Hope to get this car someday! So Cool! Hopefully with the Brunette too!
