I got newer Chrome, but Adblock was amazingly easy to install, and is easy to use for a retard such as myself. I thumbs uped it. And I dontated, even though I didnt have to cause what that guy did is amazing! Lovin the Adblock Chrome!

If this doesn't work it is because your version is a newer one. To block pop-ups and all other ads on other pages, you easily google the words "adblocker chrome", click the first link, and to the right click "install". It should take a couple seconds. Thumbs up for people to see this (if it helped)

Nope...still getting popups from IE (while using chrome)...now that I think about it, I have never gotten a chrome popup while using chrome. Is that my fault? IE is definitely not set as my default browser.
