  • 2 people are Rebel Somali soldiers D:

  • A little Bit Bad Quality ..

BUT a Great And Nice video

    Good Job

  • @MrNecnijmegen123 Yeah sorry about the bad quality i wish it could have been better.

  • ''Randy last mag !'' :(

  • These men were the bravest soldiers I have ever seen.

  • The firefight between the two delta members and the somalian rebels lasted over an hour. It could of been made into a movie by itself. This clip is good, but doesn't truly show the bad assery that Shughart and Gordon did that day. Dod says over 2k were killed by those two alone.

  • The firefight between Shughart and Gordon lasted for over an hour and could of been a movie by itself. This clip from the film, while good, doesn't truly show the bad assery performed by those two Delta members that day.

  • Shughart And Gordon are truly worthy of the Congressional Medals of Honor they received after their death.

  • @tuc52798 heck they are worthy of a bloody victoria cross!

  • This movie was very good. I cant believe these 2 men went out to know that they were going to die but die for trying to help a buddy(thank you for everybody in the military)

  • The music fits this movie and video perfectly. It really gets you into the mood and how it must have been for Gordon and Shughart. Prayers and applauds go out to the armed forces who is risk their lives everyday so that others (we) can live.

  • what is the name of the song used in this video???

  • Modern Day Spartans.

  • Well done, well made. These men deserve this tribute, our respect and admiration. They gave all so that others may live.

  • these two soldiers are the best we ever had may they rest in peace

  • nice subbed

  • The bravest thing these men did was step off that other helo. I hope that one day I can prove my own quality, but I know I will never have the balls these men did. Their sacrifice still chills me and inspires. Good tribute.

  • My uncle is Lt. Joe Cribs and he knew Randy and Gary. He was close to them. Im only thirteen and i admire these men. They are my only heroes. I drew on a white t shirt saying Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon R.I.P. and i wore it to school and had to take it off because the principle said it was offensive because ith their total confirmed kills and their medals but when i meet these men in Heaven i will be sure to thank them. May them and all other men and women who served for us R.I.P.

  • These guys made me want to be in the military when i saw this movie when I was 11

  • There are alot of tributes on youtube to these two outstanding individuals. I admire everyones intention who has every made one, but I'm sorry this one is my favorite. Nice job.

  • @17ffmedic Thank you so much.

  • This tribute is also my favorite, good work man!!!

  • RiP from Serbia and good tribute, good job!

  • did randy i forgot cuz one guy look like him 2 2 me

  • if i look at a moive this the only one i look at

  • Gary and Randy got Medal Of Honor.

  • Nice job bro..deep shit. 23thou views! woop woop

  • how come they didnt chopper more men in like from the base but they were very brave

  • Awesome job, very moving. I love the music you put with it.

  • For gods sake the stupid box in the middle. Every time I click play it starts the video and gets rid of all the rendering Ive done!

  • they did get little birds and it helped but they had to reful my second cousin was in the battle and told me this

  • Greater love hath no man, that a man lay down his life for his friends

  • Stupid dumb coward who was hiding in the back with a pistol decided to go shoot Randy while he was wounded. How pathetic, i would be ashamed if i was that dude.

    :_____-( makes me sick

  • those 2 brave heros are MSG gary gordon and SFC randall shughart, 2 great delta snipers, rip and btw great tribute man

  • @homie12388 Thanks ;]

  • is this based on a true story or something? ive never seen black hawk down but i heard it was Brilliant!

    Great trobute yet once again!

  • @kungfoolai yes read Black Hawk Down by Mark Bowden, real people, real stories, real lives lost. Movie does a very nice job of this it's a must see, and History Channel did a show on it of the same name

  • damn! they made their dutty" bless them as true heroes...they really deserve it!

  • rip lads whats the name of the song

  • I don't know wether to cry, salute or go out and murder somalians. Joking but RIP, bravest men in history.

  • if in real life they where there 4 over an hour

why did'nt they get mini bird gunships to help?

a few mini guns and rockets may have done the trick

  • @goryELITE They couldnt risk another bird going down thats why they never sent air support, even if it would have been a quick hit and run they couldnt risk it.

  • @goryELITE I also think that they were also preping the little birds. Plus they expected the convoy to reach them in time which didnt happen

  • @goryELITE

how would they know who to kill and where and when

  • @RoldanIncorporated ok 1 they would know who to kill because

there is like 200 somalians around the crash site. 2 if they did'nt

now were to go how did they get the snipers there.

  • @goryELITE

they were inserted by another blackhawk due to their requests to hold the crash site until rescue comes in

  • @RoldanIncorporated i do now that i have seen the film like 10 times

and seen the true story as well i was just thinking a air strike maybe could have helped

  • @goryELITE Its not as simple as all that.

  • @goryELITE Sorry, my mistake, they were insterted a short way away from the somalians and they fought their way to the crash site.

  • @goryELITE Yeah 200 somalians and 2 Delta guys how are they going to distinguish between the crowd and the two lowly soldiers and besides that do you think it's incredibly easy to do a strafing run in a bird or anything like that? If it was then there would be more pilots. The snipers got there because they were inserted VIA Black Hawk before the massive ass crowd of somalians had got there yet. They weren't dropped INTO the crowd. 4 black hawks went down that day.

  • @skullkid325 i have seen the film like 10 times and seen the true story

i posted the air strike comment 4 mounths ago it was a simple Q.

that xXStandAndDeliverXx answerd for me . will u stop sending me emails plz.

also it would be simple for an air crue to now whos who because theres two men in and around the crash site defending and like 200 somalians rushing at them and plz dont bother righting back

  • @goryELITE Agree'd

  • @skullkid325 actualy only 2 went down

4 got hit and 2 got downd but the other to hauled ass back to base and land

  • @calantlor Yeah thats correct

  • @calantlor Sorry that's what I meant I think xD

  • @skullkid325 np man

  • i cant watch this without crying becuse it gives me hope for this world knowing that some people are still willing to go the extra mile to help someone out no matter the odds and no matter the cost i hear people say all the time they would do the same but the fact is odds are no you wouldnt these 2 men deserve to go down in history and be remembered forever

  • What courage....i mean 2 voleentered to go in behind enemy out numbered out guned to save 1 wounded guy i respect them them are true americans and they completed their mission he live REST IN PEACE GARY GORDON AND RANDY SHUGHART!!! I RESPECT U!!!!!!

  • Around this scene pissed me off. I was SoOo mad that them mother fuckin bitch ass mother fuckers got those two delta's.I wanted so bad for a bomb to drop on that large croud fuckin with them.

  • When i watched that i saw the chain gun and wished they wouldve got on that and just lit up thos somolians

  • those guys were badass

  • This Guys was Heros...All of them Are Heroes.. I have so damn Respect for those Solidiers wo gave up life in this War...R.I.P Soldiers !

  • @Marxi93 its so true :) , HONOR and RESPECT for these guys , they will never be forgotten :)

  • @Marxi93 AGREE!!

  • @Marxi93 Wasnt a war. But other then that, i completely agree.

  • Why don't they used minigun in that chopper

  • @Flyinglookie the mini gun works with electricity , and the black hawk is crashed :(

  • to flyinglookie, the minigun is generally run off an electrical current, battery fed. It may well be that the weapon could not function as a result of the impact/crash, also these guys were making snap decisions under fire, first priority was the crew, 2nd was a defensive perimeter and as they were encircled, even the minigun would have given only limited arc.

  • Its all very touching, but it was a fool hardy decision, R.i.p to them both by all means, but two lives were given for one.....and now two families suffer a loss.....dont forget that either.

  • @demonhneo in the actuall battle, all the crew survived, but was knocked out, and what they did was pull them out of the chopper and put them where durant was, but the skinnys killed the crew and almost durant but durant was spared. so they gave their lives to TRY to save the crew.

  • Yes i know what they "TRIED" to do, but the chances of them succeeding were next to none, and oh look, thats what happened. Respect to those lads who had the guts to take the mission, but idiots to those who decided yea 2 lives are better than one.!!

  • @demonhneo They did save one.... and the movie doesn't reflect that others were alive and still fighting... Hooah !! I am lucky to have had brothers with such tenacity and courage.

  • well i never said they didnt save one, i said they didnt succeed, did all of them go back home alive? that to me would be a success.

  • They're your blokes - you don't leave them to die alone, you don't leave them behind. You have to try.

And courage is rarely sensible or logical.

  • one of them did get the metal of honor and my uncled was friends with the guy who got blown in half in thhe real event

  • Man sucks that these guys werent able to be recovered or able to come back....they would have earned a medal of honor and a whole shit load of respect for what they did.

  • from what I remember they were recovered and both at the time the first to receive the MOH since vietnam

  • Somalis returned all the bodies from crash site two..well after they were dismembered to the point where they were unrecognizable..both snipers earned the MOH for protecting the pilot, who would be the only survivor out of the two snipers, a copilot, and two crew chiefs

  • i meant if they came back alive, they would be like legends.

  • Amazing They are the real AMERICAN PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • kinda wierd to end the vid with "hope you enjoyed this vid", cus i didnt exactly enjoy watch while these two brave heroes got killed by hordes of somalians...

thanks to the music you added, the video was great! i feel proud watching these to brave soldiers. they sacrefice their lifes for someone else. the pilot was doomed and they knew they were going to die, but even so, they helped him. even im not from USA, im proud of these two! • these men where heroes and heroes never die

  • Very true, couldent agree more.

  • who made what up?

  • this guy who's talking about it takes alot of guts to do what I do I just got back yesterday and whatever but I dont believe that at all.

  • Watching Black Hawk Down, you have to wonder why these two would volunteer for such an operation that would certainly end in death. Then you remember that the American fighting man is the best of the best, and that we will always be the best. OORAH!

  • that, and the mantra, leave no man behind, it's a sacred duty

  • I'd like to thank Everyone who pays their respects and takes the time to comment, So thank you all.

  • Remarkable men. We could use more of them.

  • I'd like to be as brave as these two, but in there shoes, i bet hardly any of us would have had the courage.

Theres a difference between doing, and saying... thats why there efforts were rewarded. Fantastic Video! 5/5.

  • all i say is fuck the goverment. what u all see here in this film is no a waste its about men trying to make a diff for people that need help.

what theses 2 men did was not stupid or dum it was the best thing they thought at that time and i would hae dune the same as them.

i may no longer be in the territorial army due to injurys but the whole time i was in i saw why they said it was always about the men next to you.

  • R0gue01,

This is a tribute to Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon ONLY...

So show your respects and take your political propaganda elsewhere.

There is no room for it here.

  • why does war have to be so sad these men are my heros

  • Yeah. That's what makes them heroes.

  • cool video and good music with it. Nice to see you've mentioned it's in memory of Gary Gordon & Randall Shughart! Many people forget this is based on a true story and that they did this voluntarily.

  • yea the one that crash land at the base was the one that droped gary and randy off. but it didnt get hit on insertion. anyway cpk93 did u read the book or only see the movie. u sound like somone who is ignorant.

  • oh yea and them droping the troops in the wrong place? are you talking about chalk 4. the rope landed on a car and they had to move forward a block. cant do much about chance.
