Although I think it cuts off before you can really tell, is this audio version different to the standard 7" version? If anyone has track B2 on that promotional 12" would be great to post it. I've never see this video before. The 7" version that got airplay on New Zealand TV just had the ordinary video condensed down from the visuals on Gasoline In Your Eye. Thanks for postng, great to see actually, they look less 'cool' in this video and for that reason I prefer it.
This must be the radio version, not the extended mix used in the longer video. This version is B2 of the promotional 12" (not the single with Cut The Damn Camera). I don't think this version has even been released on CD.
Unless that's the inside of that iconic Sheffield power station demolished a while back, this video isn't very interesting! I'm guessing the hardhats were mandatory on-site. They're quite goofy looking and not at all "ominous", except to signify the risk of falling debris.
I've discovered it only recently too. Never knew it actually existed at all.
All I know is that it was shot in some Sheffield factory around as the same time as the original one, September 1984. Don't know who directed it either. Could be either Cabs themselves or Peter Care.

It really is, isn't it?
A guy from the States burned it up onto a DVD-R for me several weeks ago.
I just wish it lasts as long as its original version, though.
Thanks for posting it a lot, couchtatty! :-)
