would you be pro adoption by single gay parents? I'm gay and single, and the way it looks I doubt I'll ever find someone who I'd want to spend the rest of my life with, but I think it would be nice to dedicate my time to taking care of a little kid. We're in 2012 but it's not 2012 everywhere unfortunately, so I wouldn't know if being adopted and having a single gay parent would cause any harm to a kid. What's your view?

amazing video. with all the children out there that need good homes, i think all people gay, straight, trans or whatever should be considered. My mom was foster/adopt back in the 50's in Canada and she never even had a box, just 1 outfit and sick with polio and a shrimpy little thing that didn't know how to smile until she was 4yrs old (almost 2yrs after adoption finalized).

If I could I would foster children myself, and think parents who adopt/foster are the true heros of this world.

wow it's amazing that you've been keeping all those things you can remember your childhood by. i want to have my kid keep everything that he brings to america just like you did, cuz i hope i could adopt a kid someday.

Adpotion is legal for gay couples over here (I think), it's a very sweet thing to do... not sure I could deal with kids though, I struggle for free time as it is!

As far as gays adopting I believe in the state of Nebraska a homosexual joint adoption is not legal but don't quote me. lol I need to find a partner before i cross that bridge! Have a GREAT day!

It's legal for single gay people but to have a joined adoption between two homosexuals isn't. Gay people can't even get married in Nebraska, and are HEAVILY persecuted. A very conservative state. I would love to move to a liberal state but for personal reasons that won't be possible for a few years.

A joint adoption was just granted to a lesbian couple in Montana, so there might be hope for Nebraska yet!
