@ThiagoPug That's NOTHING compared to the tone I got last night after installing new presets I downloaded from a user group. I finally have my perfect distortion tone after 3+ years of looking. Gonna post a 3rd and final video sometime soon.
You need a REAL tube power amp.I played a mosvalve (1160)? sounds like shit and not even close to a real proffessional amp.It doesnt even come close to doing that voodu valve justice! Belive me", you plug that VV into a VHT or Marshall or Boogie power amp and it will blow your mind! I still have my pirahna, and I finally picked up an Voodu Valve and I absolutely Love it! I was totally against digital until now'. some very authentic and organic tones in that Preamp!.
@dewycatt2112 Perhaps you're right but I'm cheap. Plus I just bought a 200 watt Carvin 1-space power amp that works pretty well with the thing. And it weighs only 4 pounds, so that's certainly a plus. After bulk-loading all new presets last night I'm completely happy with my setup. I think it sounds incredible considering how cheap it is. I'll post another video with these new presets for download if the guy who made them will let me.

thx for the demo . i think what you did ( using the left output ( headphones output ) and plug a cab give good result for someone in a dorm /bedroom who doesnt need power . + you already have a great preamp and cab that your gonna use later with a great power amp . this set up actually give better result than most POD etc.. which are mostly practice gear you will get rid later . thumb ups , i always thought i was crazy to plug a cabinet into the "headphone out" but it work great .
@MrSatch34 I just use the left output of the preamp going directly into the cabinet with a speaker cable. If you turn the output knob up and have the mixer level high enough in the preset you can play it without a power amp, easily. Not loud enough for playing with a band or anything, but loud enough for bedroom-volume practicing.
Have you ever played a Rocktron Piranha? Im seriously considering a Voodu but I've heard a lot of great things about the Piranha. Plus, is has two tubes instead of one. Double the tubeiness! =)
I like this set up. How much this it cost you for everything?

@MrSatch34 There's no speaker simulation being used, if that's what you're asking.
