I stil got u,I think everyone took that too literally,because it DOES say she is tan,and that was just a comparison, maybe a metaphor lol I hate adv english lol :) bex is a tan british girl just like me :p (I'm only part lol)

btw, to al those saying bex is supposed to be black, find me a page in any of the books where it says outright her skin color. i think she should look like victoria, and i think it was great.
