  • The reason medic lost his medical license

  • it should deal critical hits when hitting the enemy's ass...

  • I love how in TF2 a weapon that shoots syringes is better than the actual submachine gun.

  • Most people say that attacking as a medic is stupid, but this weapon is really good, especially when a pyro is following you without avoiding all the needles, he will die in like 6-8 seconds if you keep shooting him while running backwards.

You can also shoot a ''shower'' of these to running scouts, soon or late, the scout will die.

IRL syringues would hurt a shitton.

  • Why do people hate the Backburner?

  • @6000NoobTube cause the backburner is often used by W+M1 Pyros (Pyros that just spam fire everywhere, using mostly the W-key and Mouse1)

  • @6000NoobTube

    cause they suck

  • Valve logic:

    Syringe Gun DPS: 150

    Flamethrower DPS: 138.5

  • @CharroArgentino Syringues could do a lot of harm if fired like that irl.

  • @Superlol020 Yep :I my max killing streak with the Syringe Gun was 5 (1 soldier, 1 demo, 2 Scouts and a Pyro) 150 damage per second is a lot, like I said it's actually higher than the Flamethrower, it's just hard to aim, but when you get used to it, it can be very good for self defense, it only takes like 1.2 seconds to kill a Pyro/Demoman or 2 seconds at mid range

  • @CharroArgentino What is this Valve *logic* you're talking about?

  • @CharroArgentino yes but the syringes have one hit, the flamethrower has afterburn and stuff.

  • MEDIC!! WHY YOU NO USE SMG!!!!

  • @SuperNESmanJr SMN Sub-machine needler. Also, try aimin THIS at someones jugular.

  • looks like it dont need syringe reload, seems that it only needs air compression

  • It does as much damage as the sub-machine gun?

  • I remember killing someone on the opposite side of a building from me.

I killed him with a needle shower.

  • there is a glitchy when he reloads - a stringy part of the gun goes off with the reloader thingy when he reloads.

    valve. -_-

  • "That's how I lost my medical license."

  • I <3 my strange Syringe Gun

  • @vinnieSWAT50 This weapon was obviously designed to keep enemies away.

  • Useless now because of the Overdose.

  • @Anthony74561 Lol no.Slightly more speed isn't gonna make up for the damage this thing does.I hate ti when people underestimate this. When I play scout,I even run away from medics when they pull this out. It's so goddamn powerful at close range.

  • @SuperAwesomeTiago no it is.

Since I got Overdose I didn't bother looking at any other syringe gun.

1 less point of damage per syringe doesn't really matter with such a firerate, while the +speed always helps, especially when your teammate gets unlucky but you survive with a high uber.

  • @kelleroid795

But the hightened move speed only applies when you actually have the Overdose equipped. And the 10% move speed uppage isn't all that great when you pop an uber within a second or two of hitting 100% anyway.

  • @omgcandy16Kimicari0 but do you use the syringe gun in that situation? No.

Dude, you get a passive/active bonus for a minuscule downside. You can use the bonus speed in any armed situation like running away from scouts/pyros/spies. And as I said earlier, -1 damage per syringe isn't that much. It accumulates only -18 less damage in 20 syringes, which can be fixed by 2 more.

  • @kelleroid795

But again, referring to the speed, you're not running around with the primary out, you're healing people with your medigun, which is why the speed buff is largely irelevant. If it was a passive bonus that was applied no matter what slot you're using, that's a different story. The Medic is already the 2nd fastest class in the game, so a speed bump is really not that high on the priority list as I play.

  • @omgcandy16Kimicari0 I say why use the syringe gun in situations you would use it and not use the Overdose in situations where you'd use the syringe gun? And the speed bonus really helps, especially when you need to save that 80-90% uber and/or run for a healthkit/dispenser/other medic/resupply while bleeding/on fire. Didn't you die on a healthkit you could reach in just 0.3 more seconds? Overdose helps avoid such situations.

  • @kelleroid795

Ok, now you're just relying on bullshit factors to make the Overdose seem better. Every class dies of afterburn, if your health was low enough that the self heal did not save you, too damn bad.

  • @omgcandy16Kimicari0 have fun dying on a medkit, douchebag.

  • @kelleroid795

    > implying the self heal will not keep me alive long enough to get to a medikit

    Try harder.

  • @omgcandy16Kimicari0 If you get flamed into <30 hp, you're gonna burn to death. OD helps to run to the medkit 2-3 seconds earlier.

  • I like that reload sound

  • This shit is more powerful than i thought

  • soooooooo under powered

  • @spencertheheghog well obviously, he is a medic -_-

  • @bestdudeever765 but the bone saw does more damage

  • @spencertheheghog learn the difference: gun and melee... if you want to bone saw damage, you need to get close... and syringe gun is different thing

  • @bestdudeever765 but at point blank the syringe gun only does 12 damage

  • @spencertheheghog well so what? it is anyways really stupid to compare gun and melee weapon isn't it? totally different things

  • @spencertheheghog oh yeah, 12+12+12+12, it has already won bonesaw, it is rabid fire

  • @bestdudeever765 thats if you hit all shots bone saw hits twice most enemys are fucked

  • @spencertheheghog umm, SYRINGE GUN IS STILL FOR MEDIUM RANGE!

  • @bestdudeever765 No Shit i just said it was just underpowered!

  • @spencertheheghog well just try to land a bonesaw hit when medium range of your enemy :]

  • @bestdudeever765 well try not to die from an enemy at medium range since the syringe gun is one of the most underpowered gun in tf2 =)

  • @spencertheheghog no problem... well... it's about what class i am going to kill :/

  • @bestdudeever765 and that where the syringe fails it is not a complete realiable wepon where as the bonesaw is

  • The gun isn't useless. With careful aiming/leading it can scare scouts and pyros buying time for a retreat or just so you can find a team mate to support. I love overly confident scouts that just dive into the needles and die.

  • Trust me, as a competative medic, this thing is near useless in direct combat. Don't be fooled

  • @ImBehindYouNow

You can still take on scouts, engies and pyros.

  • @ImBehindYouNow Last I checked, scouts are on most comp teams. You can easily take them down with this thing with good prediction. Watch some Taimou vids. And Competitive doesn't automatically mean skilled.

  • That shit is powerful, i never thought it deals so much damage.

  • I simply love how the needles always shoot below the crosshair. Just brilliant....

  • @MistrEgg

that depends on distance. if the enemy is like 2 feet away from you, then they shoot directly in front of the crosshair. dont you understand gravity or physics or something?

  • I never noticed how the Medic squeezes the trigger before

  • blutsager > needle valve should buff the needles dmg.

  • @wedewdw I always use the needle gun. Like the passive healing better.

  • @wedewdw I only use the blut when i find myself constantly having to fend off enemies without teammate support. Otherwise, Syringe Gun alllllll the way.

  • @wedewdw No,they don't.Syring Gun is perfect.
