  • cool! I like the way the beam seems to come out and go in the hilt!

  • No offense,

Epic soundboard on the hyperblade! Sounds exactly like a sith blade!

  • Do you need to own a Force FX lightsaber first and then send it in to have this done or can you buy one of these Hyberblades premade?

  • Do you sell complete lightsabers with sound or just the parts to build them ?

  • In the movies, the lightsabers did not put off that much ambient light.

I realize the saber was brighter than the stock FX, but due to the fact that the sabers are rotoscoped, the set and characters did not get any ambient light from the sabers until post-production.

It doesn't look right when the saber is bright. I prefer the stock FX, which, although dimmer, has truer ambient lighting than the modified one.

  • the sound is bad on the hyperblade

  • you would think that because they have no number to call...they would return your email....no a chance i have sent five emails to hyperdyne labs...and nothing....so what do you do.....you get a ultra saber fast and easy...orderd sunday got it friday

  • hey i can i purchase one w sound fonts

  • hi where can i buy one from

  • very comparible to the Makoto saber. sweet...

  • sounds like someones going whoa over and over again

  • thast incredible

not only is it like 10 times brighter

but the sound is louder and mor distink

    uber coolness

  • good improvement, but u sacrifice one MAJOR thing....BATTERY LIFE

  • dark spots

  • Where can I buy one?!?!?

  • toys r us

  • Vaders lightsaber sound is not like that... that's a jedi's sound, you need a sith sound.

  • The Hyperblades™ certainly look impressive, and I love the Corepulse and flicker effects but I have a question...

Do you sell complete, assembled sabers?

I only ask as my DIY skills can be measured on the Richter scale depending on how much damage I cause :D.

  • The sound is too loud loud and not anywhere where the saber is...

  • version 1...they are up to version 3 now I believe

  • Why did you ruin the sound by using Maul swings?

  • This was a demo saber and the sounds are programmable. Why someone would think it was "ruined" by simply using a different sound setup is bizarre.

  • are these blades durable???......can i actually duel with them???

  • Yes you can duel with the blades. They are quite durable.

  • Regarding obscuredblood's comments... the sounds in the H-blade shown/heard here certainly sound a LOT closer to the ones in EP I than the MR prop.

Anyone who has heard the MR Vader/Maul props knows:

    1. The sound is identical in them... (wtf???)

    2. They each have ONE clash sound (which is mainly a sithy "on/off" sound in the movies)

So, I don't see what was "ruined" here, sound-wise. If anything, it is a VAST improvement.

  • why would you duel with them....

  • @Hyperdynelabs acctually it's not ruined, it's the sond that a sith lighsaber must have and the other it's for a jedi, the maul sound its more aggresive than one regular jedi lightsaber so it's better that sound for a sith saber

  • i could imagine vader holding that blade with two hands, but not the mr they are way too short!!!!! wat to go mr!

  • that is freakin awesome man! is that the 3 piece blade board?

  • Yes, this was a version 1 (v1) 3-piece blade. One of the first we made. It is a good test of the ambient light you see given off by the hyperblade! Imagine the v2 as it gives off at least 50% more light!
